normally I keep them for backup if someone needs emergency cooling for his pc. but rightnow I'm thinking about using the stock cooler of my fx 8350 to cool down my stupid phone.

I feel you on the last part. why does pc stuff have to be "mans work". I like women and I like pcs, why can't they live together in one world?!

my dad is getting older and he never had experience with pc stuff. he works in vodafone and so it came that he got a smartphone on the job and a little dell laptop. the first few month where pure chaos and I started to hate my name. he asked me for every little annoying thing a hundret times a day and kept forgetting how things worked. luckily he's gotten far better and now he just calls me when some weird stuff happens. I'm proud of him after he saw my first self build rig he was stunned and got all interested into it. he's not the best at problem solving but that's my job ;D rightnow I'm collecting parts to build him his own little "kingdom" (thats how he calls my setup). gonna be expensive because he fell in love with mechanical keyboards and the fancy stuff he saw in my pc

that would be a great idea if I would not already have a berlin bear and lots of pikachus. maybe I buy high heels for my bear so he gets even bigger

the 390x beats the 980 (barely and not in gta V) but you cant really overclock it like you can a 980
so 390x if no oc

the asus mg279q will cost 600$... it is confirmed; and its a 144hz 1440p, newIPS, freesync screen with TN response times, TN ghosting and will probably be strobable just like the acer xb270hu....

you need one set in 32 bpp 8bit alpha (here with the 256x256 layer) and then one set of 8bpp with a 256 palette and another set of 4bpp with a 16 palette. so 5 layers in 32 bpp, 4 in 8bpp and 4 in 4bpp

that's the way it works with folders and shortcuts but for devices and printers you have to use a microsoft tool to bind the icon to a device

I edited into my original post good idea, I think I'll change my crappy screen into a toaster!

I have played a bit with the Windows Metadata Editor and wanted to change the (ugly) default icons to something that resembles the real device.

I won't change the Monitor icon because I'm changing it soon and I was too lazy to change the xbox 360 icons form that grey to black.

QR has a different type of dimming.  The original had PWM dimming which was sensitive to many peoples' eyes.  Personally, I have the non QR (I think) and I have no issues.  But you might.
 
Actually, I'll say a bit more.  Both have a great amount of cables included, DVI, DP, others.  Great stand, this is a true professional monitor.  No aggravating gloss black plastic, just clean, very basic design.  

who has 15-20gb free memory to load games into it.
i have 16gb and thats a lot. i dont see anyone other then video editors having the ram that would be needed.

The fiio e10k is a great amp/dac for its price but you don't need one for akg k240, but they can benefit from one somyou can buy the ne later if you want
