well in my experience it didn't work all of the time so maybe they just removed it because of that

Dayum just realized.

 

 

The forum seems to be undergoing renovations, anybody also notice the timestamp on posts saying "A minute ago" instead of the time? 

 

 

EDIT: The damned thing never really worked, I just go to Google and type "site:linustechtips.com (insert search terms here)", always worked better that way.

Site's in performance mode. Go to google, type what you want, then add "site:linustechtips.com" without quotes; example:

They removed the search box, but it never worked properly anyway.

Even when it's not in performence mode, the search hardly worked properly.... I find that searching on any forum, using the built-in search engine, rarely works as intended.
