ASUS PB278Q or QR

I'm going to buy myself a new monitor.

I had my eyes on the Asus Pb278q for some time but then the refresh came and now I'm confused

Does anyone of you habe experiences with the newer model? or maybe even with both.

should I stick to the old gold stadart or get the new one?

QR has a different type of dimming. The original had PWM dimming which was sensitive to many peoples' eyes. Personally, I have the non QR (I think) and I have no issues. But you might.

Actually, I'll say a bit more. Both have a great amount of cables included, DVI, DP, others. Great stand, this is a true professional monitor. No aggravating gloss black plastic, just clean, very basic design.
