I can vouch for the Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus (or v2.1 if you don't need a touch interface). It is a great printer, due to it being a clone of the well regarded Prusa i3.
 
I've had the plus for about 9 months now and love it. It prints quite well straight out of the box, and there's a great community of owners on places like reddit and facebook to help with troubleshooting. There's also a multitude of mods of varying levels of difficulty which can make it an even better printer, if you want.
 
It's also been rebadged by a few sellers so the Monoprice Maker select V2, Cocoon create or Balco are the same printer.

Nice I did the same thing. I did it with an old Celeron from my first laptop, all the pins were completely bent. I didn't really see it being used again
   

 

 

I fix people computers to earn a bit of money on the side, and the other day I went to fix someones PC that had some problems with Chrome being hijacked by malware.
 
Anyway, I started with the normal procedures of checking the Chrome Extensions and programs, and found a program called "Delta Search".
 
Bear in mind that the customer was hovering over me watching what I was doing (which I hate), and when I went to uninstall the program they said "oh we were going to try that, but it said 'windows needs admin access to run', so we cancelled it"
 
SERIOUSLY, all I can say is that was the easiest  £30 I've ever earned

Why is a pay wall bad? I would much rather pay then have ads on. LTT need to make money and ad revenue is on the decline. I don't think it is stupid to support a content creators or platforms they use.

If anyone here could tell you, we wouldn't because we wouldn't be middle-class ppl sitting in front of a computer, we'd be living in a huge mansion in Beverly hills drinking champagne and hitting on girls. Creating a game engine takes an extreme amount of work and even for a huge company like ubisoft, takes more than a year with hundreds of employees for a more sophisticated one. If you were to do it yourself, you would need to learn tens of languages and thousands of frameworks. It would take at least 10 years if it's a one man show to learn everything and another 3 to actually build it at that point, it will be heavily out dated and you will have spent your life doing nothing and die lonely. 

When doing some coursework at school  I used VERY simple shortcuts like Ctrl-C Ctrl-V Alt-Tab Ctrl-Enter Ctrl-Z, and a couple of girls who were next to me stared in amazement as I magically switched between windows without the mouse, pasted without right clicking and undid things without pressing the button. I had to spend a few minutes teaching them how to use shortcuts  

Also I was in a lesson and the projector wasn't working, teacher got really irritated, about 3 other people in my class used their "computer knowledge" to try and diagnose the problem. It took me less that 10 seconds to notice that my teacher had pulled the pc away from wall socket and pulled out the VGA connector( which wasn't screwed in....)

My old school removed all the disc drives from every pc, because they were worried that people would install malware etc. but they forgot that all the computers still have USB ports...

I have to say, I've been watching LTT for about 3 years now, and at each point of change I've always been skeptical, it's just who I am, never convinced until I see the results, and every time I've been pleasantly surprised. Linus and the crew really know how to produce great, informative content over 3 channels, when most people struggle to run one. I think I'm coming to the end of my free year of Vessel and I can honestly say I WILL be subscribing again, mainly because a video from Tech Quickie came out on Vessel just before I had an exam that included the topic of the video (Apple Pay) and definitely upped my marks by about 10%. Mightn't sound like much but in a degree you take all you can get.
 
I absolutely love you guys, if I ever met any of you (Yes, even you Dennis), I'd buy you a beverage of some kind as a token of my appreciation (I said ONE Berkel... but yes a double JD counts as one). I trust you guys to do what's best for everyone, you've always put the viewer first and I commend you for it. And if you guys ever need a man on the ground in the UK for whatever reason, I'll happily volunteer.

EDIT: Just watched the new Vessel episode, so I guess you won't need a ton of luck after all

You really should grow the fuck up. How can he be a Sellout? Linus Media Group is a fucking video production company. Whether it's for a third party of for one of Linus's youTube channels, making videos is what he does..
 
If it wasn't for Vessel, this new series would never have been made.. So either be grateful and enjoy it, or pretend it was never made and move on with your life..

I've got a machine I use to occasionally host a heavily modded MC server, G3258 and 4GB RAM and it really struggles when generating new terrain. You'll want at least a quad core with hyperthreading I would say, and 8GB of RAM
