And the fact that 50% of these satellites have to be launched within 6 years means this is going to be up sooner rather than later.

No, it will work like you Mobile phone when moving between cells. It will require a transmitter and receiver and that's it. Think of it like a way more powerful WiFi Box.

All of that can basically be answered by "it depends"

Sometimes we buy hardware, sometimes it's provided along with a big sponsorship cheque, and everywhere in between.

Generally we expect the manufacturer to pay shipping to us and back, if applicable.

As for shipping stuff.. there's a reason we have a dedicated warehouse/inventory guy (who also works on writing stuff from time to time) - Tyler. It's very time consuming.

with any luck enough so the end results show this type of campaign to be flawed with an inefficient  success rate.  That's about the only chance we have of lobby groups not using it.

This just encourages burglaries and home invasions... why would the person make this app think that would be a good idea? Crime rate in those two fields is high and some random Political correct wanker is thinking everyone's going to use that app for the right reasons... This is a joke. Thanks for bringing this to my attention allycat.

Technology is sending the world to the dogs.  What a disgrace.  What ever happened to letting people have their opinion?  what every happened to true democracy where we now spend more time trying to convince other people they need to vote a particular way rather than accepting we might be the minority?

I don't know if it's just me but there seems to be a lot more deceitful and ethically bankrupt campaigning from the no crowd than the yes crowd.

I voted yes primarily because I am a decent person, but secondarily because I don't want to live in a country that (people like those who use the above app) have any control in.

Your Welcome  @Strayan_Bass Door knocking is not a new political tactic but this is. If you go to house X and campaign for candidate Y but household member X says they are voting for Candidate Z, the campaigner puts that into the app and then that household gets spammed big time. It's not what democracy is about. yes put your view over but if you get a rejection then move on. The best thing is to find out who they are campaigning for and agree so they won't harass you anymore. Saying no or disagreeing will be a big problem in future elections.
