... It is an AR headset, not a VR headset. Much more focused on overlaying stuff onto the real world, than rendering an entirely new one. See also Microsoft's Hololens that's been out for a while, similar headset and advertised for similar uses (though MS's has leaned more towards enterprise stuff than home use). The storage is likely fine for what the headset is meant to do.

Look at the cores themselves.  The CPU as a whole may not be utilized much, but a core or two are much higher.

Those games don't use a lot of cores.

    For what games?

Honestly steamdeck. Whilst performance is a bit lower. It runs steam os and it's just a WAY better mobile experience.

Windows isn't built for these devices and it shows a lot.

I have some audiophile friends, from various things they've said when discussing music/audio gear, I believe a large part of it is sitting down and learning to tell the differences. Sort of like how, when I was learning piano as a kid, the teacher had me sit down with a set of headphones and listen to various songs, learning to pick out specific instruments from them in order to hear what they were doing. For a lot of folks it likely is placebo still, but if you want to justify it with a reason other than "I like it", you can learn to.

I buy CDs and rip them to FLAC so I can put the files on my iPod, I haven't put the time in to listening so closely to music that I can tell the differences between a FLAC or MP3.

For FSR you don't touch the resolution in game, leave it at native. Enable FSR and set a mode. Quality, Balanced, or Performance. Each will render the game at a lower resolution then upscale it.

For games that don't support FSR, you can use RSR. Using that it will need to be enabled in Adrenaline then it includes a nice little step by step guide for how to make sure its being used in game.

Looks like it's just for marketing as most of the UW resolutions are not actually exactly 21:9:
^^^ especially changing to a resolution that is not exactly 1/2 or 2x the native res, it'll often look really bleary. If you have high enough ppi it won't (I can run 1440p on my 4K 27" panel and it won't look too terrible) but a 1440p ultrawide likely isn't sharp enough.
    It does.

Find a slim-ish clamshell briefcase, you can likely use industrial strength velcro (it has very grippy adhesive on the back) to hold everything in place while still having it be removable if needed. If you wanted a keyboard and trackpad you'd have to get more creative with where to put those, if you have access to a 3D printer you could likely make some sort of support scaffold for them.

    Summary
Twitch, OBS & NVidia are providing an answer to only some channels getting transcoding. Using  modern GTX & RTX GPUs, streamers will broadcast up to 3 resolutions simultaneously up to 1080p. Also, beta testers will experiment with higher bit rates, up to 5 concurrent streams and AV1 encoding.

    My thoughts
FINALLY!  Twitch is getting on the bandwagon of higher bitrate streaming and newer codecs. I think this will be great for content creators so their viewers will always get the right stream/resolution. My worry is, what's the bandwidth going to be like if a user is streaming 3 (or more) resolutions at the same time. Data caps be damned?

Zando_ reacted to jaslion in Does quick connect limit my temps?
Its actually better to put them directly in series as that is far more efficient to create head pressure. That can be a fun lil "upgrade" 😛

Quite literally you are at the limit of what 20c water can do. There just isnt enough of a temp delta.

Also you are under 100c so totally fine.

Keep in mind no cpu is equal and that also means no heatplate or solder job is equal. There are a bunch of variables here that can increase temps. I highly doubt its your loop.

If you want more water blasting through even harder just put the pumps in direct series (and make sure they run as close to same rpm as possible) and see what that gives.

You're on the bleeding edge here. Simply running into never accounted or tested for situations so variance is normal

Can confirm both are good. I've had both 1080s and a 1660 Ti. Neither is gonna have any issues pushing 1080p. The 1660 Ti is newer and draws a bit less power, the 1080 is a bit faster but at 1080p I don't think it matters much. I sold the 1080s to a friend who has reported 0 issues with 'em to this day, sold the 1660 Ti to another who's since traded it away because he wanted something beefier for 1440p144 + VR gaming, he had no issues with it otherwise.

RTings has a comparison that says about the same: https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/lg-c3-oled-vs-lg-g3-oled/37848/37849?usage=1&threshold=0.10. The G model is technically brighter but they say the difference isn't very noticeable, and it can be mounted completely flush to a wall (but also must be wall mounted as you noted).

    Loved the EVGA video!

Let me know if you want to play around with a 275 Co-Op sometime.  I have one in my collection (and a 275 that can work with it in SLI if you want to spend time messing with drivers to use SLI + PhysX).  I also have one of the GeForce4 Ti 4600 with the ACS2 coolers.  Along with about 70 other EVGA GPUs...

I have one of the Interview dual 17" in too.  It was fun to play with, but, ya, bad video quality by today's standards.  They seemed to be coming out with some business related products at the time and some were pretty interesting.  They had a line of PCOIP products (kind of like a remote KVM) that were pretty neat.  They had host cards that would slot into a PCIe slot and you would run the GPU output to it (for display), USB devices, sound and even configure for WOL or wire in they physical power switch for remote power control.  On the other end they had "thin client" receiver boxes that could plug into a monitor (or even the 17" Interview).  They were powered by Teradici, which was eventually bought out by HP.

I recently completed a similar EVGA tribute build in a DG-85.  Fun build, but, that case is HUGE.  I even dropped in similar random accessories like EVGA DDR4, a PCOIP host cord (for fun, removed it later), an EVGA Killer NIC (remember those?)  And of course an EVGA motherboard (x299 Dark) and 3090 Ti Kingpin.  Check it out: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4vCQqR

Their legacy certainly won't be forgotten.

If you're in a bright room most of the time with no way to manage light, the MLA panel of the G series might help. Otherwise its a form factor thing. G series need to be wall mounted while the C series comes on a stand (can still be wall mounted).
