CookieMaster got a reaction from AlTech in Warranty Stickers
I had this too, but proof of purchase was given earlier or they could see the invoice. Especially on older products, sometimes shipping is worth more than the scrap metal or materials.

CookieMaster got a reaction from GDRRiley in Ultimate DUAL 8K Workstation!
I wonder how much fps you could push out in games on dual 8k monitors, Given you use gaming cards... sounds expensive
Maybe soon the editors will have them

well even if you do have to enable permissions, you can always guesstimate the buttons location... and for the login, if you don't have a fingerprint reader, and have a password or pin instead you can always grab an otg cable and a keyboard.

CookieMaster reacted to LordofSavages in System Instability and Overclocking
There is no set "magic oc values" for any processor. The simplest way is increase multiplier by 1 then add a lil voltage then repeat until you hit a thermal limit or you crash. If you do get super lucky and get 5.4Ghz and temps are fine, then just tune the voltage further. You shouldn't be looking at the highest stable clock for others but instead what the highest stable clock for you at a safe voltage and temperature

Ah! Your system reserved partition needs to be larger. It needs to be 500MB.
Open Disk Manager to check

Do you have a previous backup you can restore to and see if the issue persists?

Either a bad OC, or a bad install of Windows. If your CPU is overclocked, revert it back to default clocks. If not, try reinstalling Windows.

CookieMaster reacted to Dan Watling in SQL Help
The problem is that the "AuthorID" field referenced in the constraint is not guaranteed to be unique. In your create statement above, the PK for the AUTHORS table is AuthorID + PublisherID. SQL Server requires foreign keys reference unique keys in the target table (i.e. primary key or a unique index). You have three options here: 1) Drop the PublisherID from the AUTHORS table PrimaryKey, 2) Create a UNIQUE constraint on the AUTHORS.AuthorID field, or 3) Add the PublisherID to the BOOKS table and reference it in the foreign key constraint.

CookieMaster got a reaction from kriptcs in Windows 8.1 Crashes every time I install AMD Drivers
I just recently upgraded from amd 390x to 1080 ti, but when i was on my amd card like 1 month ago, the newest driver was causing windows to crash. Make sure to go wit hthe WHQL driver instead, the non WHQL driver caused my pc to crash, even with a fresh installed.
BTW, i had this problem on windows 10.

If you have the money and really care about noise/thermals, the Hybrid cards are amazing. I have a FTW3 Hybrid myself, and it’s an amazing card. If you’re not too worried about noise/thermals, the FTW3 and SC2 cards are, as someone mentioned above, a much better value.

It’s true that EVGA’s cooling is worse compared to others, but really isn’t that significant, maybe some FPS here and there, but nothing to ruin your gaming experience. The reason why I still recommend it is because of their amazing support. Sure, you might not never need to use it, but it’s great to know you’ve got it when you need it. I was once installing an EKWB on a GTX 1080 FTW, and later found out I must have messed up somewhere and the card died. EVGA TO THE RESCUE! I put back the original cooler the best I could and then they replaced it with a brand new shiny FTW. That’s why I stick with EVGA for GPUs.
