the only time you should see "discoverable" is when your looking at bluetooth settings, or if you're looking at the router config.

    FINALLY!!! Finished my first loop!
I'll post my specs since that seems to be the cool thing to do.

    Loop:
    EKWB FC-GTX1080 NICKEL PLEXI
EKWB EVO SUPREMACY AMD NICKEL PLEXI
    BITSPOWER Z-MULTI 150 CLEAR
    EKWB COOLSTREAM SE 360
    ALPHACOOL VP6655 W/CLEAR TOP(forgot the name)
    10x EKWB ACF 10/13MM CHROME
    EKWB DURACLEAR 10/13MM
    EKWB CRYOFUEL BLOOD RED
    XSPC G1/4 PLUG THERMOMETER

Also I have an EKWB drain setup going out of the back of the case at the pump. You can see in the second photo where right after the pump the loop starts at the compression fitting and at the other end is the drain valve/ csq plug that goes out the case.

Huge shoutout to all of you and helping me and engaging conversations with one another. You guys have really assured me that these things are possible!

The lighting and camera quality sucks. I don't know how you guys get your photos to pop so much...

I wouldn't recommend(nor would anyone else) aluminum for any type of OC. The A/G series are designed for lower TDP systems. Like everyone else says, "part it out". A kraken will only do your CPU good (keep in mind...) If you want a good ass deal look more towards ebay or go with XSPC. They are very exceptional quality and have great prices for their parts. They also use copper but with a lower fpi. Always go copper. Always. Don't regret buying an AIO and think to yourself "damn I want to cool my gpu but i'm out of funds... I should have listened to those guys on LTT."

I reckon the EK Kit would be better: More reliable pump and the ability to add more radiators or a GPU block to the loop.

Yes, compression fittings are much better cause they attach the pipe much more securely.

Although this is purely anecdotal everyone who I know that brought barbs changed to compression's the first time they redid their loop.

It is mostly a peace of mind thing, barbs work fine but you have to make sure youo get the clamps tightened well so there is no slow leak and I would be extra cautious when transporting a barb based rig.

CaptainSav916 reacted to RadiatingLight in Barb Vs. Compression fittings
Compression fittings look cleaner, have less room for error, and are more secure.
however, a barb fitting done right is still fine.

Got 38 barb fittings between my two pc's. Don't plan on swapping any time soon. I can spend that money on some much more beneficial. If I started from the beginning with them I wouldn't mind spending the cash.

My rigs look like crap and some fitting wont help that much.

It's a nickel plated brass tube, or acrylic tube usually. EKWB makes clear acrylic inlet tubes if you need.

unless you want to pay shipping, i suggest using ebay or amazon. I literally have been finding KILLER deals on brand new parts on ebay. got an ek 1080 block for 99 bucks(130 everywhere), alphacool VP6655 with top installed for 85 bucks(135-150 elsewhere), so on and so fourth- all brand new. the deals are out there, you just have to look for them. I just prefer not having to pay 15-20 bucks for shipping that these modding websites seem to charge no matter how much you spend

CaptainSav916 reacted to corrado33 in Any ways to overcome motion sickness from gaming?
Seriously? 7 posts in and no one has mentioned increasing FOV?

    REALLY?

What the heck has this forum come to?

OP: Increase your FOV. I also get sick with games with small FOV. Most console ports have very limited FOV. (Some as low as 75-80 degrees). This is problematic for PC gaming because you're generally much closer to the screen on a computer than you are a TV for console gaming.

Definitely increase the FOV. If the game doesn't inherently allow it (*cough cough fallout 4 cough cough*) just google how to change the FOV. It'll often involve editing .ini files, which takes only a few seconds of your time. Very often this will solve your motion sickness problem.

You can't change the color of the LED on the Founders Edition cards. They are a white LED shining through green plastic (or something similar). I think you can use the the Nvidia LED Visualizer tool though to change the brightness and similar effects to that LED though. You can download that tool using this link:

I am currently working on a project based off of  things that many of you use on a daily basis. If anyone is interested on coming up with a new product based off of currently available products or has an idea or invention that you would like to present to the general public within the next several years, feel free to DM me. I do not have a final product based off of what I have invented, but would like to get assistance from you and create a share based off of an idea that I would like to have patented on yours or my behalf. I would not only prefer to create a new brand for a certain company, but would possibly be setting out for a new company of our own as an end result if the research and development is as successful as I hope... I would like to form a team of people based out of North America that speak English and have a passion for something like this. This is not a hope to get rich off of your help post, it is an "I would like to come up with our next gen's products and get rich with you" post. My spine is tingling and I would like to invite the bright minds of LTT to assist me with inventing the next innovative product, whether it takes from tomorrow to 20 years until we create a final production. I have created a hypothesis based off of the final objective and it is glorious. If you have the smarts, well this is for you. All topics discussed will be deemed confidential and will not be shared among any other people other than those solely describe as a team member for this project. I have many ideas that can be critiqued and would like to work with you on your ideas. Like I said, let me know if you are interested.

It will do fine, not my weapon of choice when it comes to mice though. Of course it depends for 99% on personal preference but Logitechs G502 is what I got on all 5 computers I use at home and at the office. And I had a lot of mice over the years, this one is the only one that suited my needs so far.

But If you want to color sync pretty stuffy stuff with your keyboard, which seems to be a thing for your since you specifically mentioned it, by all means go for the Corsair, had that one too, it will do the job.
