The apprentice trainer called me, so it wasn't the standard corpo speak cold rejection E-Mail at least. He told me it was between me and another guy in the end who is in his final High School year rn, of course they had to pick the other guy. I guess this at least shows how fucking close I get ever time. Bloody hell, I really wanted to work at this Company too. With the amazing pay and all.

At this rate this Stupid year won't work out for me either, because I can guarantee you that the other 3 Job Applications which are still open rn will also be rejections.

It wouldn't be as bad if there weren't the Stupid Mandatory Military Service which we unfortunately still have here in Switzerland for all Males. I already postponed the start of my Service from January 2024 and the Date which was given to me is 1st July 2024. So yeah I'm running out of time big time. I would've been able to easily postpone it again with a Contract for a 3-4 year apprenticeship. But without a proper actual reason I can only try and hope that these Bastards won't actually force me.

At least I chose to do my whole Service in one go, so rn it would be from 1.7.2024 to 25.4.2025 (that is if I don't get forced to rank up, then I would have to serve even more time). The other model is to do the 18 Weeks (or 23 Weeks if you're crazy and do something like MP or Grenadire Special Forces) of Basic training + the specialized training as part of your role you'll do now and then like every year after that you'll have to do Military Service until you've served all of your 232 days if you're lucky (that's usually 2 to 4 Weeks per year). So basically have to do Service into your 30s or even 40s. That would be the biggest yikes.

So yeah things not working out the way I actually want has been the Theme of my life for the past 5 years.

This is my favorite Peach Ice Tea. On the left is the package Design which they must've used for at least 15 years now if not longer (other Swiss people on this Forum can correct me here), I just have very early memories of the Design so it's been a good amount of time for sure. Anyways as you can see on the right they added a Nutrition score label, a Vegan label and changed the label which says that the Tea has been freshly brewed. And of course moved the label which says Peach in German, French and Italian to the middle. I'm fine with the new labels and the placement of them, it's just I hate it how they made the actual Design simpler and less vibrant. I hate this Stupid trend of making Logos and packaging Designs look much more simple and Basic. I mean just look at the Pringles Man, he's freaking Bald now. Or the FireFox logo, takes you some time to figure out that that's supposed to be a Fox if you've never seen it before:

Of course in the end what counts is what's in it and that's still gonna be the same. As someone who is detail oriented and likes depth and vibrancy to even the little things this especially disappoints me. But yeah stop this Stupid trend, nobody asked for this.
