If you need a 5950X in the bedoom, you're playing the wrong kind of games.

Get one of the samsung ones. Even just a 6000 or 7000 series one will perform great.
You can rename the HDMI1 input to "PC" and that disables all the post processing and gives you very low input lag.

Samsung MU8000 / MU8500 are very good for the price. Great contrast, very good uniformity, good HDR performance, wide color gamut and very low input lag.

It's a little late for the Ethereum bandwagon! I have 2 rigs running about 2 months now for cheap currencies and now since the market for those went from a few fraction of cents to 6 usd in that time frame. Lets say this I have enough to buy a luxury car or Muscle Car ( Dodge Hellcat ) if i wanted to now, but i'll hold out for something I really need.....A HOUSE! Im using my old R9 290s ( 3 of them). Prices of those cards have inflated exponentially. look for other coins to invest in or mine.

ES is not worth it. They are not publicly for sale CPUs. They are illegal to sell or resell.
You are better off getting a 7700k for gaming, or Ryzen 1800x for multitasking/gaming/content creation.

Masteryodi1980 reacted to TheRandomness in 3570k owner severely let down by Ryzen
The Ryzen 7 lineup was created as a cheap alternative to workstation parts. Sure, the 1800X doesn't perform as well as the 6900k does, but it comes very close at half the price. People who wanted the Ryzen 7 lineup for gaming only are like people who buy a 6950X for gaming only. It really doesn't make sense to buy a CPU with lower clocks and higher cores just for games, which prefer higher clocks. If you're wanting a gaming setup, wait for the rest of the Ryzen lineup to launch in a few months.

Unless he's going to stream to, then get a better CPU for gaming only! I chose the 1700x after i sold my 6900k (Only was a month old) i netted about 500 (sold it for 900) usd for my cpu and another 200 for the mobo! It may perform less than the 6900k but it gives me the results im happy for my AE and ZBrush-R7.  My old 6700k was better for gaming but couldn't do jack crap for streaming or Zbrush! My old 8320 system would crash @ times with around 5 million verticies!

Same. Nothing from amazon. Chat support was not helpful, with the gal pretending as if she'd never heard of pre-order giving me the statement "A delivery date was never given for items that are temporarily out of stock". I believe amazon never had chips in stock when they accepted pre-orders.

Yes, red and green hate eachother, so the GTX980s and Ryzen CPU will fight to the death when powered on in your PC. By the time you will hear the clanking of metal, it will all be over and $1000+ will be destroyed.

Seriously, they need to build more Micro Center's. For a so-called "top 200" company, the amount of locations they have is pathetic.

That sucks! Mine is in Atlanta! I have two to choose from! Duluth store is a bit better with Clarence deals and such! With some parts like the Cpu/PSu/Mobo I saved hundreds compared to the other stores! But when it came time for Ram/GPU/cases/RGB/fans/and ect. Amazon and Newegg couldn't be beaten!
