TechJ reacted to ClownFace1511 in Surface Pro or iPad Pro?
You can do so much more on a surface than an ipad because of windows. iPad pro is just an excuse for a larger ipad.

TechJ reacted to manikyath in Modem Struck by lightning, Now Pc won't work.
if it zapped the modem, it's more likely the mobo than the psu.
also, if it was the psu you wouldnt even get to the bootup logo.

TechJ reacted to Thx And Bye in New pc not installing windows help
Try this: Connect the drive to a different pc and wipe it completely.
Then you connect it back to the pc you want to install it in and also connect the usb with windows.
Go to the BIOS and set boot priority: 1st the Harddrive and 2nd the USB with the windows install files on it.
Start the installing process.
What you have is, when after a reboot the pc boots from the usb stick again. That will (of cause) start the installer from zero.

If it is from a laptop screen, its probably some form of embedded Displayport (eDP)

TechJ got a reaction from Exploded117 in [SOLVED] USB Flash Drive Error: "Please insert disk into E:"
If you do not need any data try this.
CMD > Diskpart > list disk > select disk (Your number) > clean > select disk (same again) > create partition primary
Windows should then ask you to format it
Hopefully this helps

Have you got access to another monitor or possibly a tv screen. You could test this on a different output source to see if the problem persists then you would have a little bit more information?

For sure. Once everything is all said and done, I will be making a post on here with the full updates and the steps I went through to get it all done.
And yeah, the 3 grommets are for flexibility to so that I will always have a close hole to put wires into so I won't have to see a wire stretched across the top of my desk.
