You can do so much more on a surface than an ipad because of windows. iPad pro is just an excuse for a larger ipad.

Surface pro 4.

iPad needs to have some multitasking functionality (for example, "OS Experience" for iOS 7, jailbreak tweak) that is useful.

I mean -- All that power and yet it can't be used. However the surface pro 4 is running a full version of windows 10 which makes it way more useful and isn't limited to applications in the app store only.

If you're using it for illustration, go for the iPad Pro. Otherwise, if you need a desktop environment and decent art capabilities go with the Surface Pro 4.

If the iPad Pro weren't a joke there might have been some thought involved on my end LOL.
If they wanted the iPad Pro to be a viable option for "professionals" they should have put OSX on it!

I never saw the need for the iPad Pro, in my eyes it's a big expensive Apple product that doesn't do as much as a mac. If they had put a version of Desktop OS like windows had done it might have been a more appealing product for me.
