I laughed so hard, thinking it was a joke story tbh, well written.
Feel sad for you, that's one expensive keyboard.

Look at it on the bright side though, now you get to buy a new one with the original Corsair logo

When my current keyboard "Razer lycosa" is dirty I take it to a bath, dry it out as much as i can, put in the buttons again and it works.

The things you shoud do is that you take it apart as you mentioned and wash the coke infected parts so it is not "sticky" anymore from the coke. then dry the parts a few days and build it together

Start ups would be drowned in infrastructure permitting alone. That exists through lobbying and all sorts of shady politics.

I think most people would enjoy Google Fiber service, but its expansion has been selective and slow. If it were profitable and feasible, I think Google of all companies would have jumped all over it. That tells me just how bad the situation is.

So here is a fun fact and a tips instead:
Studies shows that birthdays are good for your health. People with more birthdays live the longest.
Avoid employing unlucky people by throwing away 50% of the job applications without even reading them.
If you're in IT then this is a pretty funny story:
A man flying in a hot air balloon suddenly realizes he’s lost. He reduces height and spots a man down below. He lowers the balloon further and shouts to get directions, "Excuse me, can you tell me where I am?"
The man below says: "Yes. You're in a hot air balloon, hovering 30 feet above this field."
"You must work in IT" says the balloonist.
"I do" replies the man. "How did you know?"
"Well," says the balloonist, "everything you have told me is technically correct, but It's of no use to anyone."
The man below replies, "You must work in management."
"I do," replies the balloonist, "But how'd you know?"*
"Well", says the man, "you don’t know where you are or where you’re going, but you expect me to be able to help. You’re in the same position you were before we met, but now it’s my fault."

Well then what the **** are we waiting for better dive in.

    First up the gt 705

This sexy thing is a rebadge of the gt 610 which was a rebadge of gt 520. spicy.

Let me throw some numbers at you
48 CUDA CORES 64 BIT MEMORY BUS a jesus tier of only 29watts under full load An awesome process size of 40nm If i was you id wait for the classified or lightning versions of this card, you could maybe push it up by 1000mhz.

    Next up the...

    GT 710

This lady killer isnt a rebadge of the of Gt 620, whats this madness, its a rebadge of the gt 630, actually no its not, this is a cut down gt 630, madness is it, whatever.

Lets get down to the stats
Uses the genetically superior pci-e gen 2.0 lane. supports DX 11 has 512mb of memory, wait a sec thats less then the 705, i guess the AMD marketers went to nvidia for a day. Thats all i can say about that card, I recommed you wait for a sapphire version, even though this is nvidia im sure a 8gb vram version will be arriving soon after launch.

    LASTLY

    the new god('s servant),

    the new flagship(mascot),

Here it is the GT 720

This you might notice is the same as the above card but its superior.

Its not a half rebrand, ITS A FULL REBRAND.

This card has a full 1gb of vram. If you convert that to bytes its 1.0737 X 10^9 which is a big number, if you tried to count to that number it would take... A LONG TIME.

Unlike the ferocity of the above cards, this one is on a whole new level, those cards have a straightly 1 smx unit whereas this dragonslayer has 2 smx units. THATS 200% THE PERFORMANCE, i think.

It also has the DNA of the gtx titan, the 680, 770, titan black, titan brown, every voodoo card and that crazy tall guy from fractal.

Well then its been great but thats everything ive got today lads, follow EVGA's step up plans because im sure you titan wielders will be gunning for one of these beauties soon.

Yes, and pigs fly... In a buyout, the buyer makes the rules.
Sure they can have specific agreements but those are subjected to changes later on, if the INVESTOR believes they are heading the company into the wrong direction.

If FB is smart they will let them do their thing so they can cash in later on, when the final product will reach the market.
But im sure FB didn't acquire Oculus just as an investor. They are probably thinking of some VR Facebook shit, where instead of poking our friends on FB, we will make them a VR Blow job or something.

Smart move from Oculus, 2 billion for a company which is 3 years old. They hit the jack pot with this one.
Im sure it was "Who pays the most", otherwise they could easily find other investors.

And that's how things work in a capitalist world, money can change opinions; personal values; principles etc.

Google wants to be The Internet King
Facebook wants to know what colour your shit was so they can share it with your friends
The only good thing Microsoft did in the past time was their new Windows Logo
Yahoo is still trying to find out how spam filters work
Apple is selling you the same hardware with new, fancy covers since 5 years now, the sad thing is they are still making profit.

    Huh?
If the computers are already connected to the router, there's a drop down list for setting Static IPs for me. That makes it a loooot easier. Sometimes (not all the time, and it's random) it has the host name beside the MAC address, but not always. Which is nice from time to time.
It has a lot of "this could be better" things.

haha, your perfectly right, and if you use Mac filtering you have to set the same mac addresses on both 2.4 & 5g, no option to add them for both at once. Also i've notice copy / paste doesn't work (e.g. i have all macs in a excel sheet, couldn't paste them in.. had to manually write them). But as you said, after completing the set up part it works awesome !

So... after I RMA my 1st Asus RT-AC68U router because it was faulty out of the box (Topic Here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/128600-bad-experiance-with-asus-products-anyone/)
I decided to make a small overview/walk through of the 2nd, this time functional Router

I'm a n00b so, pls accept my upfront apologies

For pictures and included accessories see: http://www.asus.com/uk/Networking/RTAC68U/#gallery

After setting up the cables etc. i was ready to have some fun so I've fired up my computer and hit the user interface (192.168.1.1)... Well, i was ready to have some fun but the Asus AC68U not..
Loading the UI took literately over 30 Minutes, I was at the point where i thought I have my 2nd brand new, out of the box faulty router... I didn't receive any time outs so I decided to let the router do it's thing.

After taking a shower, the router was almost ready to interact with me Maybe because I was smelling better

First bug i encountered was the language selection, i've selected EN, the interface change into EN but after pressing the NEXT button, it jumped back to Romanian (Auto detection)

The UI is kinda forcing you to follow their 3 steps (Verifying and detecting the network type (WAN)), setting up the ISP account (PPPoE) and then other configuration of the router.
The only way to go around this is to select the "Back to the main page button" which probably because of a bug will lead you to step one So if you're already a few minutes into setting it up, better not touch that button unless you want to start all over again..
The Wizard will search automatic for the authentication method your ISP is using, not giving you the option to select it manually, this wouldn't be a problem if it would be faster, but auto-detecting it self took over 10 minutes.
After auto detection failed, it show me the option to set it manually which is........ c'on Asus, why not the other way around ?!?!

From here on, things run a bit faster, took in the settings like a charm and i could move farther to authentication

Loading the UI move even faster so I've reached the last step, setting up the 2.4&5g SSID's

Before finishing the Wizard, the router checked and installed the latest firmware, updating went surprising fast and improved the UI loading times.

When i thought I finally finished, my IPS detected (As unknown) and blocked the MAC address of the router. After calling them they disconnected the client (router) from the server and registered the mac.
At this point the router went crazy and I couldn't connect it back to the ISP, it was connecting then jumping me to the wizard and from there back to main screen, after going back and forth for about 5 minutes i decided to reset the router to factory default and go over the setup once again.. At least this time i had better firmware to work with

I left the WiFi Range at it's default, I can say the "Ai Radar" (Directional Signal Focuse) is working as advertise. I'm getting 4 to 5 Signal lines where ever im sitting within my home.
I did a lot of tests in the past month (Since i got my fiber connection) and i can say the AC68U improved the dw speed with about 100mbps reaching dw speeds of cca 800mbps, test run at peak time (20:00) compare to my old TP-Link WR1043ND (Bad comparison, I know) which reach a maximum of 680mbps (Peak time)

Speed tests over wifi (2.4), same server, around the same hour showed dw speeds of 100mbps average, while on 5g I've managed to reach an avrage of cca 400mbps:

Of course the tests do not show the full potential of the Router because of so many factors (Including but not limited to: 8 devices connected to it while running the test from which 2 active computers); peak time; traffic flow of the partner server etc.)

    Overall:
Pros: Nice aesthetics, Good performance; a lot of futures (Build in VPN, USB 3.0 etc.), power switches (Router; WiFi; lighting (Although the lighting colour is a dark blue, barely visible in a low lighted room)).
Cons: Pricing; Slow UI; some bugs here and there but i'm sure they will be addressed with future firmware updates.

Was it worth 200 Euro = 275$ (High Prices in EU, i know...), probably not. But hell, if it makes me happy

Because of Microsoft the PC industry is where it is at today... Of course MS cares about Gaming, it's a point of interest like in any business. By providing large support you can gain large mass of users. Of course MS did some stuff not everyone is happy with but those type of things happen in each corporation. You people must stop this Fan Boys'. In Europe 95% of the company's run their work stations on MS products (OS; Suite like Office etc.) even if Linux is free and you could get other free suites like Open Office etc.
I run Linux but my main PC is operating on Win7.  I also own licences for Vista and Win8 garbage, right? If Win7 wouldn't be around then I would struggle and use Windows 8.1.
Competition is GOOD for the end USERS! The reason why MS had the courage to release Vista and Win8 at their early state was because they had NO COMPETITION!
Now Everyone is Mantle that, G-Sync this, Microsoft left or right... bla, bla, bla...

    I AM HAPPY THAT:
    - Steam is adding pressure on the Console industry, I hope they will smash their bolls. forcing MS, Sony, Nintendo to release their consoles at a more realistic price or at least with a lot more HP.
    - MS is planning to improve DirectX thus bringing us more options to choose from and force the hands of Nvidia and AMD to be even more creative.

I hope AMD will relaunch on the CPU market to bring Intel some challenge so we can see some improvements there as well.

Each company would have done it exactly the same.. Why invest in buying a younger cow if you can still milk the old one?
