The TV uses dynamic tone mapping to try to fit high nit content into it's lower brightness capabilities. This is completely normal, and it's how every OLED TV works out of the box. There should be a setting in the TV that allows you to disable dynamic tone mapping or set it to HGIG. If you do that, the calibration tool should be more accurate to the TV's capabilities. But keep in mind that turning off dynamic tone mapping will result in a dimmer experience. It won't change the peak brightness of your TV, but dynamic tone mapping will often overbrighten most HDR content for more "wow" effect.

I never had a Vizio TV, so I don't know what the setting is called in their OS and if you can even disable it. Some brands like Samsung are also notorious for their forced tone mapping that users can't turn off without diving into the service menu.

As @Stahlmann mentioned you can try to find a way to disable automatic tone mapping and use HGiG or just set the tool to 800 manually. I really don't enjoy the HGiG mode on my C2 and instead just manually set 800 in the tool. I also used CRU to set the max luminosity (127 in CRU).

Basically any lga 2011 xeon v3

An e5 1680 v3 or e5 2667 v3 will be some of the best picks for gaming.

Other than that an e5 1650 v3 is a solid super cheap option.

As for gpu check how many 6/8pin connectors you have on the psu in that system. That will be your limit.

With a bios update it’s fairly open single socket x99 and should take any 1600/2600 v3/v4
The e5 1650 being the go to for gaming on x99, since for most of the other chips it’s just a matter of core count and they get increasingly expensive with more cores.

    The 6c/12t e5-1650v3 is usually 10-15 dollars
The 8c/16t e5-1680v3 jumps to 65-75 dollars, not worth it imo

v4s will work too if you update the BIOS.

Your best bang-for-the-buck will probably be an E5-1650 v4. They're cheap, have 6 cores, and are one of the highest-clocked CPUs from that family. You can get models with higher core counts, but they have lower clock speeds as a trade-off to fit the same TDP envelope.

As for power, you should have a single 8-pin at least.

I have a 5810, so I'll check part numbers later.

Dell part number D92C9 should give you two 6-pin PCIe cables off the power supply breakout. From there you can combine those into a single 8 pin with an adapter. I think there's a second cable that can connect to the deeply buried connector on the PSU breakout board, but that's not "official".

The 685W power supply for that chassis is part number CYP9P.

So I have a Ryzen 3700x and an ASRock b550 pro m and I want to memory tune. I have overclocked other things before and it's fun but I have really bad luck of just stuff never working.
    So I have t force vulken z ddr4 3200 cl 16

I watched hardware unboxed video on how to memory tune Ryzen 3000 and it flat out didn't work had to reset CMOS
So I tried myself just putting up the speed to like 3244 so barley and it would not post. Anything except the xmp profile will not work. Am I just unlucky or am I doing something wrong?

well, my card is broken but not completely dead. I get artifacts while gaming on my screen if I leave the settings to high, and on defaults my system crashes/ But if you cut the memory clock it might work correctly, even if it is weaker.

(Most likely)Dead VRAMs or memory controller. You have no way of fixing that card if all you can do is give that card a once-over.

Ok thanks everyone I think I will wait to find a good cooler by power color or msi and get a rx 480 4gb. Should be between $200 and $220 right? So a after market cooler for the rx 480 4gb ~$215. Sounds like a good idea?
