Their Who.Is information confirms that their registrar is ******y, and that they are using CloudFlare.

Linus Media Group isn't apart of the CloudFlare partner program, though they may be a client.

Wrong. It's not usable in any sane linux distro unless you use --no-preserve-root.

I'd recommend something like the GIGABYTE Motherboard ATX LGA1366 Intel X58.

    Good luck with your build.

That may not necessarily be the case.
It really depends on your habits, in Windows 10 the snapping ability in quarters works quite well if you're used to it.

rm -rf got a reaction from Dat Guy in When did you get into programming?
My timeline of early coding was:
    Scratch when I was 6.
    HTML when I was 8.
    CSS when I was 9.
    QB64 when I was 11.
    Python when I was 12.
    C++ when I was 13.

I'd recommend you get into something like Python first, https://groklearning.com/ is a great website for that.
Also, if you're a student you can get a free version of Visual Studio if you then go onto C++.
You're never too old to learn how to code.

That's annoying, though their topic is a bit broader, I think this may still be okay. Though I completely understand if an admin removes this post though.

Python 3 is the better one to learn, it's more similar to bigger languages like C++ with slightly stricter syntax.

If you're wanting insane performance you could go for any of the new Broadwell -E CPUs coming out soon:
    6950X - $1723
    6900K - $1089
    6850K - $617
    6800K - $434

I'm going for the 6800K in my next build, though if you just want to play League or TF2, this is probably awful advice I'm giving you.
    Good luck

rm -rf reacted to dalekphalm in What to get? Vive, Printer, or 1080
I would beg the question of why you need any of those things? Why do you feel the need to spend money on them?

If you already have a 980 Ti, I would honestly either not buy a GPU at all, or wait until the "1080 Ti" comes out. I would also skip the 3D Printer, unless you are dedicated to learning how to 3D Model, or think you'll seriously use it a lot for DIY stuff (You can download a ton of 3D Printer-ready models from online).

As for the Vive? Why? If you have no space, skip the Vive, and get an Oculus Rift. They're coming out with better room tracking eventually (Not that you have the space for that), and their Touch Controller will be out soon, which will likely be very similar to the Vive's controllers. Many have said that the Rift feels like a more well rounded product, better finish and quality, more comfortable, and the integrated headphones are more convenient (Which you CAN take out if you want to use your own headphones).
    https://support.oculus.com/help/oculus/928280527287643

So if you're not going to use the Room Tracking features, then why even bother with the Vive?

EDIT: And if you fail to choose between the above options: Save your money, and drop it into a Tax Free High Interest Savings Account, or buy some Stocks (Nothing you can't afford to lose though), or buy some Invest Bonds from your bank.
