AboveTheSource reacted to W-L in How exactly do "Wi-Fi" Range extenders" work? (eBay link in desc)
No, they just need to be configured and plugged in to a wall outlet so it boosts your wifi signal to further it's range, you'll lose some performance though with the boosted signal compared to your original signal from your router.
Note: If you were wondering the ethernet port on the side just allows for a wired internet connection to a PC or other device if desired.

Not my idea of a "Clean Number"
My opinion of a clean number has to be divisible by Bytes (8 Bits)

Save up for a 270 or 280X/770. For now just overclock your 650 Ti

AboveTheSource reacted to Chidori457 in Best upgrade from GTX650Ti 2GB
650Ti cannot be SLI'd.
I suggest you save up your money for a bigger upgrade IMO. Just OC the 650Ti.

Would you recommend a 770 or a 280x instead of the 270x? Either way which brand would you recommend?
Thanks

AboveTheSource reacted to KenadyDwag44 in Perfect GPU for the FX-8320?
What GPU are you using right now?
There is a problem with the bf4 beta where you get a ton of lag spikes and only 30fps.
I fixed the lag spikes by downloading the beta driver for my gpu and it worked.

AboveTheSource reacted to chaozbandit in Perfect GPU for the FX-8320?
I haven't followed Powercolor's line of product lately so I can't offer an opinion on it. You can always check the benchmarks and see how it performs against other cards. Personally I'd go with something from Sapphire or Gigabyte for their coolers but I'm not sure what your budget is.
I plan on upgrading to an FX8320 / ASUS 7970 DCUII soon so I'm in the same boat as you are.
