Apple was foolish to think that a puny smartwatch can compete with the likes of Rolex
To be fair they sold few units. Some people were foolish enough to buy the marketing prop.

Unpopular Opinion: The likes of Apple and Samsung should stop shipping their expensive phones with the cable out of the box for a couple of reasons.
- It's short in my opinion (at the moment I use a 2 meters long braided cable from Anker)
- Because it's short, you'll probably throw it away or keep it piling in a cable drawer creating more e-waste.
- If you can afford an expensive phone, you can buy a good third party cable that is long and fast.
But that's just me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unpopular Opinion: Apple should bring back the AirPort Extreme by integrating a mesh wifi with the Home Pod. Should they decide to bring it back I hope it has an easy way to use a VPN as simple as installing an app from the App Store.

Agree, I enjoyed the various AirPort devices I've used over the years. They aren't super advanced as far as controls go, but they're dead simple to set up, which is what most people need. Far less complicated than setting up Netgear stuff, for example.
In the meantime, look at Unifi's stuff. They're basically the Apple of networking hardware (tight ecosystem, love for white plastic and silver aluminum, simple setup process), they have their Teleport one-click VPN function that you can use from their iOS app.

Stupid Question: Does Apple Care cover water damage, screen replacements, and keyboards? Asking for a friend who is buying a MacBook Air? I never bought Apple Care so I don't know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Looks like you need Apple Care+ for water damage
