haswellgamer got a reaction from Turtle Rig in Sennheiser HD8 DJ's as a headset?
I do have a webcam but I don't think that is a good solution..I need to be able to mute myself and adjust the mic's volume which is why I would like to get the boom pro mic.

I also recommend the Sennheiser 598C, I have those and they sound great.

I use a Schiit Magni amp with my AKG K712 which sound amazing so I can also recommend the Schiit stuff.

Setup network wake on lan feature so you can just send a quick "ping" to your PC from your phone to wake it up and turn it on

thats the great thing about it though, it is modular to the greatest extent. there is an entire modding community JUST for the case, I'm sure you can find a part someone has made for it that supports a 360mm/420mm rad.

I used a $30 USB wifi adapter. Worked perfectly fine. I don't play anything remotely competitively though.
Check out eBay, you can get some killer deals on higher end ones. I think mine usually retailed for closer to $90.
Eh, depends how long the cable is, plus not everyone likes wires running around the house
You just have poor parts selection. There's loads of motherboards with built in WiFi.
"Proper". It's not super necessary these days. Nicer, sure, but it doesn't make it unplayable. This isn't the turn of the century.
I don't know anyone who has a gaming rig and spent money on a separate network card.

    no it's not.
If you want to do proper gaming you want to have it wired. that's why a expensive gaming pc will put the extra money into the wired nic instead.

try installing the driver, and if that doesn't help then I would try switching the USB receiver to another port.
