Keyboard not working while in games

Hey LTT,

 

So my problem is pretty weird. My wireless keyboard just occasionally stops working while I am in game. It will some times delay the input or just not respond, but it may start working again in a few seconds. While I am out of the game, the keyboard works like a charm, I type all these text without any issue. Just wondering what can be the cause of it? The game i have tried to have this problem is LOL, CS GO, GTA5 and Diablo3.

Have you tried uninstalling the driver and re-installing it? What brand/model is it? Have you tried it with another computer yet?

its a logitech k270. it doesnt come with a driver if I recall. I have used it for 4-5 years and this issue only came up recently. But I doubt its the aging, since it ONLY happens in games. I dont have another computer that I can try for gaming. But i tried it with my macbook and it works.

So it only happens when you are playing games?

yes. the issue never happen outside games.

try installing the driver, and if that doesn't help then I would try switching the USB receiver to another port.

Thanks, I installed the driver and played game for while. it does not totally go no responsive anymore, i will experience for while and see if the problem is really gone, since it come and goes.
