well its really depending on what you do with your PC. If you install a lot of untrusted software, you should consider paying for an antivirus suite.
Malwarebytes is in this case probably the best one. Also, you should install the Malwarebytes ransomware protection.

If you're just doing stuff from what you know what you're doing, don't pay for antivirus. If you ever have a bad feeling about a program, let it run in a VM and you should be good to go.

If you want to protect the Hardware, set a BIOS password and install something like pray and TeamViewer host to remotely access/lock your PC.

I have had experience with norton and its not that bad, Yeah sure it can get annoying but It never failed to protect my computer for the 3 years I had it. I will say it can be a tiny RAM hog (Maybe like 9,000K in task manager when idle) but it hasn't failed yet on my main computer that rocks Windows 7. On the other hand I just use Windows Defender in Windows 10 on my Laptop since its free and isn't heavy on resources. and my laptop is a cheap 200$ HP stream so I don't mind being reckless with it.

I would personally go for Windows Defender and Malwarebytes for periodical system scans.

If I end up using a third party anti-virus solution, I usually go for Sophos Home. If I don't feel like dealing with the constant shenanigans of Anti-Virus programs, I just stick with Windows Defender. It's surprisingly the least intrusive one considering it's from Microsoft.

Outdated? What would you want it to do that it can't currently? Create a light show when you input numbers? Cherry mx keypad? Ability to play music?

They apparently have it planned as a feature for you to be able to host Xbox one servers on your Windows 10 machine.

When and if they get to that, I cannot say.

My MacBook Pro can stream any game from my Xbox no problem, so pretty much anything could do it - including a potato.

The actual heat death of a computer is way higher but those temps at a long time will shorten the life span of your parts considerably

That sounds like two separate questions.  I think you should be able to take the drive out and format it and use it in a PC, but I would assume (I don't actually know) that it's encrypted in some way such that you can't read the xbox files, and regardless, you can't use the HDD from an xbox to play xbox games on PC, if that's what you're wondering.

i highly doubt your pc would be able to read xbone game files. after all, they're intended to be read by the xbone itself.

something similar to your question is Xbox Play Anywhere titles.

It's probably all sorts of encrypted, and probably requires some sort of online handshake or hardware handshake in order to play the game.

Presuming you could trick the OS into believing it was still in the system, then maybe. That'd probably require quite a bit of work though, as you'd be running it on physically different hardware.

Well emulators are going to be a thing. With a modded bios it might be possible, but your in driver hell.

Sounds like alot of work. Why not just buy the game for the PC and use a controller?

But no, realistically the way the information is stored on an Xbox Hard drive, It very likely wouldn't be readable by a typical PC.
