OJTheAviator reacted to spartaman64 in Researchers trick tesla into going 85 mph autonomously with tape on speed limit sign
source: https://electrek.co/2020/02/19/tesla-autopilot-tricked-accelerate-speed-limit-sign/
Idk why im posting so much tesla stuff i blame google news and their algorithms. Some people have pointed out that on a public road where the car can also get the speed limit from gps data this probably won't be as much of a problem. Just another reason why you should pay attention with autopilot on. Also afaik this only affects older teslas.

I'll suppose I'll post one or two myself:
I've got a few of a little private jet, but that hasn't made it off the SD card.

Hope you'll enjoy the photo dump, all from January ❤️
Note: Sorry about the quality, these photos have been compressed twice and were taken on my phone as for my trip to london, I didn't have space and for the photos in the SportCruiser/on the airfield, didn't take it as it's impossible to use a DSLR whilst trying to maintain straight-and-level with the winds we are currently having.

Why not Lenovo? A Thinkpad would be a good choice, although I can't remember if there are 15"+ with touchscreens (although there are the 14" X1 Yogas).

OJTheAviator reacted to LinusTech in About the Vincero sponsor spot in Techlinked...
We see this feedback once in a while and from what we can tell the complaints about Vincero are pretty much entirely focused on the bang for the buck of the watches.
From my point of view when you buy anything there are a lot of ways to get 'value' from the merchant. You're paying for the bill of materials, the labor, R&D, logistics, service, style, convenience, brand, etc etc etc. Everyone determines the value of a product differently.
If we're going full "real talk", from my point of view any watch is a personal statement - nothing more. If someone's personal statement is "I appreciate the work Vincero does curating nice looking watches that are good enough for me and I like to associate my personal identity with the brand they've built" then is that REALLY any different from someone else's personal statement that goes "I only care about what's under the hood. This thing may be unfashionable but it's built like a tank in ways most people will never know or see"?
If the complaints about Vincero centered on their customer service or that the watches keep terrible time or something, we would drop them like a hot potato.
They don't.
The complaints are from non-Vincero customers who can't fathom why anyone else would like them or buy them.
That position isn't wrong, but buying a Vincero watch is equally not wrong.
At the end of the day we are all paying too many dollars for too much materialistic crap. Want to make a statement that means something? Don't buy a Vincero or a Seiko or a Casio. Go find something second hand and save it from a landfill.
Edit: to be clear, I'm not taking some kind of moral high ground. I throw out my water bottle when recycling it isn't reasonably convenient, I have plenty of junk in my house made of non-renewable resources, and I travel by air. I'm killing the planet like most people.
The point I'm making is that to me this whole 'which watch' argument is like watching fan boys argue about BTS or AMD vs Intel or whatever.

OJTheAviator reacted to nick name in how can I destroy my PC in a subtle way
Perhaps your parents see the type of person you're becoming and realize that they shouldn't reward you for it. Perhaps it's because they work full time and couldn't raise you properly. You need to step back and take a look at yourself and realize you're only handicapping yourself for what challenges you'll find as an adult. And even if your parents make enough money to buy replacements for things you break the fact that you have so little respect for them that you'd break something because you think you deserve something better is extremely bratty.
Help yourself now and learn to work towards and earn things in life.

Honestly, any major distro will do fine. Ubuntu is the de-facto standard but personally I would recommend Arch if you have some time to dedicate to it.

Hey all! As my first semester of School is coming to an end, I have realized that I no longer need the Windows-Only utilities which are on my computer, and I can finally move back to linux. I have used Backbox before, but I was also looking at ParrotOS. Note: I will not be accepting Kali Linux as an answer as it is hot doodoo and I am not even touching that even with a 100 foot pole. Anyways, any recommendations?

Both landings involved stiff 90deg crosswinds with the following strengths: 14kts and 17kts. Wis challenging but good practise.
