    Hey y'all,

I was in the market for a screen protector for my S9+, and while normally I get one from Spigen for every phone I had in the family for the past couple years, Spigen doesn't seem to have one for the S9+. Instead, they got something called "Screen Protector GLAS.tR Nano Liquid", which is a wet wipe that you rub on your screen and the solution fuses with your screen or something. It claims to have a higher hardness than your average phone's oleophobic coating and might potentially cover up tiny scratches in the oleophobic coating.

I tried searching for reviews online, and anything currently on Youtube about it is garbage. A few people asked about it on Reddit and various forums but many responders to those threads simply called it snake oil with no explanation. I discovered a few other similar products like "Nanofixit Phone - Nano Liquid Screen Protector", and a few others that I simply cannot remember at the moment. There are also a few products that claim to remove scratches or restore the oleophobic coating like "Crystal Armor Fusso Cell Phone Fingerprint Oleophobic Coating", and "Nanofixit Scratch Remover".

Of all these products, there seems to be very little third party info about them. It'll be pretty cool if we can get a video or two about whether or not these products are more scratch resistant, can fix scratches and micro scratches, and endurance of the coatings. LTT does have one video about a wet applied liquid screen protector, but that was from 2012 and it was tested on a Blackberry.

Linus has been reviewing applications over the past couple weeks, and apparently did some 1st round interviews over the weekend.

Still working through a few more, but if you haven't heard back by the end of the year it's safe to say that you did not make it through the first round

    Thanks everyone for submitting!!

NavXIII got a reaction from MVPernula in HyperX M.2 SSD
I have the 480GB version but I got it for like ~$230 from Linus's warehouse sale in August 2015. I put my OS on this drive and it boots up in just a couple seconds. The few games I put on there (Witcher 3, MGS5, any ~50GB game, etc) loads up really fast. IIRC it was probably one of the fastest consumer M.2 SSD out there in 2015, but nowadays there's NVME which are even faster. If you REALLY want to spend that amount of money then check out the Samsung 960 Pro/Evo. These new drives are more than twice as fast as the HyperX Predator which makes me sort of jealous =P.

    Compare the Read/Write speeds here:

I accidently posted this before I finished writing it and y'all guys all comment so fast. 0_o
    More like dog food. =P
What about RAID 5? Or maybe 2 RAID 0s with the older drives holding the games only (got some really fast internet here in case it fails).

Will do after my finals in 2 weeks. I just wanted to ask to see the community's opinion first.
Didn't know they had another website. Seems like they only have postings for video editors and camera operators.

Thanks y'all for the speedy replies!

Ok I think the molex cable of my PSU doesn't work and probably didn't work before hand because my LED fan comes with a molex connector and a 2 pin connector. The 2 pin seems to control the LEDs and the molex powers the fan? That'll probably explain why the fan controller doesn't work since it gets power via molex.

It booted just fine. Crisis somewhat adverted. Although I now I have 2 other problems. The other fan of the same model doesn't spin but it's LED lights up. Also my case is an Arc XL which comes with a fan controller. I hooked up the 3 fans that come with it to it but none of them spin. Actually no fan I have connected to the fan controller works.

The LED on the power button on the mobo is still on. Should I try turning it on again without that fan and most components connected?

    A few notes:
The image shown if of the extrapolation of known LTT fleet data. It is sort of compressed I have a link to a larger version below. The more people who self-report their ships the more accurate we can guess what ships we have. Right now we only have 1/3 of members self-reporting. No one in LTT has a Javelin self-reported. I just included one for scale, and the bottom of the image kept cutting off the last two Idris'. We may or may not have one in the fleet. Two guys named Omega and Skiffy has pretty much every ship and then some. Out of the 14 known Idris', 3 of them are the M version. 35 Idris' can store 140 Hornet sized ships assuming each Idris can hold 4 of them. The creator of the fleet generator should also include variants as well. LTT can comfortable form 4 permanent fleets of the known ships and have many ships in reserve. 1 fleet can be: 2 Pegasus Carrier (stored with 30 Avengers and 30 Hornet varients) 3 Idris' (1 M, 2 P) (stored with a 4 Sabres, 4 Super Hornets, and 4 Gladiators), 2 Endeavours (stored with 4 Cutlass Reds), 3 Carracks (3 M50s), 4 Merchantmans, 1 890 Jump, 4 Starfares (2 Regulars, 2 Gs with missiles), 6 Retaliators (4 Bombers, 2 Troops Carriers), 6 Constellations (with 6 Merlins), 12 Freelancer MIS, 2 Redeemers, 9 Vanguards (3 of each), 2 Heralds, 2 Orions, 3 Reclaimers. Thats 146 ships. Here's a direct link to the full uncompressed image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jx4hrqu8wo4znmg/LTT%20Fleet%20Size%20Nov%201%20Extrapolation.png?dl=0

The stuff listed as $0 are stuff I already have so no need to get a Samsung 950 Pro. I'm thinking of using my Predator PCIE SSD as a boot drive and storing games I use really often that would benefit from fast read speeds. The Macbook M.2 SSD I could use as a temporary project drive storing all the stuff I'm currently working on. No clue what should I do with my 120 SSD. My 4TB internal drive will store anything I didn't list and completed projects.
Also I'd rather swap the AIO rather than getting a new case. I got it at a discounted price at LMG's garage sale and even got it signed by them.

Here's the new build is 5820K. Swapped the AIO, and added the LG ultrawide monitor as a placeholder.

I just did the math and it's about that much 250k. Should be more since we don't have everyone self reporting their ships. Ok probably 1/2 of his house. I live 20 mins from the LMG studio and house prices here are like 500k minimum for a rundown lol.

Oh alright. Didn't know you update it so often. I sent you a PM. While it's good to keep track it's still won't be 100% accurate (we have about 2800 members with only 2000 ships). When they add Org 2.0 it'll probably fix our accuracy problem.
