DragonTamer1 got a reaction from Bananasplit_00 in Risks of GPU OC??
As someone who is still puttering along with a GTX 750 and a GTX 760, I would have to ask why you would want to overclock such a powerful card in the first place... But to each his own I guess.
You've got the standard risks with overclocking but I don't really see any reason why you couldn't overclock it right out of the box.

DragonTamer1 got a reaction from godzrule in 2500k a ti & Nvidia Surround?
Your 2500K will be slight bottleneck to the 980ti. It will be a big bottleneck if you do something like play GTA V and try to watch a live stream at the same time.

DragonTamer1 got a reaction from online_olympian in Super cheap 8 core.
I think I might buy one now and hold off on a motherboard and see if their price comes down any. I suspect that they have gone up because people are out looking for them so they can play with their shiny new processor.

DragonTamer1 got a reaction from flibberdipper in Post your Good Ghetto mods
CPU was getting too hot, needed better cooling for the case. Picked up a fan at radio crap with a molex connector and had to drill out more of the rear of the case to mount it.
Needed a graphics card so a friend sent me his old 760 SC, was more powerful than the entire computer.
Needed somewhere to put the power cables, oh look some empty 3.5 inch drive bays.

DragonTamer1 got a reaction from DigitalHermit in Question for the Anime Club
I would also like to add that in a lot of shows they feature fan service which is basically female characters in little or no clothing in something like a shower or a bath (sometimes male characters [***cough**** Free ***cough***]). A thing to consider with shows like that is the age demographic that the show is being targeted to. Not all shows do this, in fact it usually takes away from the plot imo, but they sometimes do this to keep viewers when there is little going on in the episode. This usually only lasts for one episode a season and if it makes more than one appearance, it is most likely a joke.
At the same time there are some shows that will shamelessly use fan service as a substitute for any real plot at all (they can usually be found with the two tags ecchi and harem together). A few, some, most of these usually will have a loli somewhere. They are easy enough to avoid and you don't really watch them for the plot. I would go so far as to say that they are borderline porn.
Then there is hentai... I'm not going there, I'm just not.

DragonTamer1 got a reaction from Cory_plays_games in Tech Confession Time!
I use Steam in home streaming to play on the old system that has 3 monitors that runs said games at less than 20 FPS instead of just playing on the computer I'm streaming from which easily hits 60 FPS or higher.

DragonTamer1 got a reaction from iamdarkyoshi in Who else has ADD or ADHD?
This is a pretty good start.
For me, I can be listening to someone and my mind will take something insignificant that they said and it will run away with it. As I've gotten older, I've been able to catch it and reel it in relatively quickly. This isn't necessarily bad because if you are describing a problem to me, my mind may run off thinking about a possible way to solve it. If you are describing something, it will start building a mental picture of it so that I have something to visualize.
That being said, if I am extremely interested in something then it will be the only thing that I think about. I can easily spend hours grappling with a problem as long is it interests me.

DragonTamer1 got a reaction from Andrew Sh in Need cheap HTPC - Intel Compute Stick?
The brix should work as an HTPC system. If your TV is using a stand, you can even mount it on the vesa mount.
