Again, I haven't read the report but my understanding is that WPA2-Enterprise with certificates are vulnerable too. I don't see why it wouldn't be.

Im not sure if updating your router is all you have to do. From my understanding all WiFi devices have this issue. While patched and non patched devices will be able to communicate, Im not sure what this does to your over all security. That being said, Ill assume your up shits creek on this one. Unless the Apple gods decide to just release a stand alone patch for older devices.

I have a feeling your not the only person in this situation. How far back will router manufactures go with patches? My Dlink router hasnt had a firmware update in like 4 years. Lucky for me DDWRT was compatible and was a good upgrade for it. Now I gotta hope DDWRT updates their firmware otherwise Ill be upgrading to the new router. On top of the fact I have a host of devices, 3 phones, 3 tablets, first gen fire stick, second gen fire-stick, roku stick, and my laptop all on the wireless network. I gotta hope all these devices get updated. At this point all we can do is sit and watch.

Yes it's probably a symptom that is already dying. The occasion I had to see this problem started 3 months before the "end of possible use" of the device with a little yellow area. Then it "grow", expecially after recharging or reaching high temperatures, then it stopped to recognize fingers and apps did start to open/close/do things by themself as I was pressing them.

.. So replace the screen or the entire phone.

I rolled out an update about half an hour ago, but it looks like it might have messed up in the cache, causing it to break just now. I've cleared the cache so it ought to work now.

It will be cheaper and less time consuming when you need to change the ISO due to a new Windows 10 update. Also USB drives will still work in devices without an optical disk drive.

Edge will not tell you that your system is infected.... it is a web browser, not an anti-virus.
You are probably looking at an ad, or a Java-Script pop-up from an infected website tell you this lie so that you download or do what it wants "to remove it" but really only infect you. Usually the goal is to either take your credit card information, or ask you details enough to cause identity theft.

Close the tab or the web browser. And just to be sure, scan your system with Windows Defender (Full scan) and then Malwarebytes after. It doesn't hurt to be sure that you don't have something else that you got from the past.

Yongtjunkit reacted to Donut417 in Wifi hands-off not as smooth
In order to do this, you need AP's designed to do it. Most of the time you need the exact same AP's, because there are 3 standards that can be used for roaming. Most people suggest the Ubiquti AP's. But your not going to get seamless roaming between two different AP's most of the time.

Yongtjunkit reacted to Donut417 in Wifi hands-off not as smooth
If your trying to roam between AP's its exactly like I said above. 3 standards. If both AP's dont support the same standard then no. Plus each standard has pluses and minuses. Your going to need gear that is designed to work this way.

What Blacky Logan said (AP mode) will do what you want.

What media bridge does is act like a wifi dongle that connects via ethernet instead of USB.

You can just simply use this ASUS router (or almost any other so called wireless router) as a wireless access point and configure its WLAN settings separately. To do that, instead of plugging cable from your ISP stock router into WAN port, plug it into one of the LAN ports, set ASUS router IP to free IP address in your local network, disable DHCP server in this device and configure WLAN to your needs. Then you should be able to connect to this AP and have IP address assigned by the DHCP server of your main router.

Yongtjunkit reacted to scotswolfie in Does bridge mode combines networK
What do you want to achieve exactly? If you're going to use this router as I described it, it will perform only as an access point, another device in your LAN, it won't have direct connection to the Internet and it's gonna use your ISP router as a gateway. If you want this ASUS router to be the central point of your network, you've got to connect the cable from the ISP router into the WAN port and:
Disable firewall, DHCP server and WLAN on your ISP router If you have dynamic IP, select IP from the LAN subnet of your ISP router for the ASUS router and enable DMZ for this IP Configure your ASUS router. If you have dynamic IP, for the WAN port set the IP you chose in the previous step. If you have static IP, you should be able to simply configure WAN port with the same settings as the WAN port in your ISP router. In this case scenario, your ISP router will act only as a "modem", and your ASUS router will manage your whole network (including firewall, routing, etc.).

If you will use ASUS router as AP, the 1Gbps connection will be only possible between devices connected to the switch of this router (other LAN ports), but the rest of the network will be limited to the 100Mbps link between both of your routers (and WLAN speed is another thing that will also depend on the specific scenario).

since its so easy to "reset" your devices, especially any apple device, just do a backup, and "backup" that backup to another folder, then just reset and restore from that backup. that might just fix your issue. you can also try and log out of your apple id and log back in. iv had some weird shit with ios 11 but everything always fixed once i reset my device(s)
