I bought the 5600 XT about 2 weeks ago and it has done nothing but give me a headache.
 
From black screens, to reboots, to system lockups... I can't watch 4K content. I can't play any of my games without the AMD drivers locking up.
 
They released I believe it's Adrenaline 20.2.2, and I will say, all day yesterday I didn't get one single crash. Today everything crashes.
 
Things that I have noticed for those having the same issues as I have, turn off anything outside of your games that may use any of your GPU while you're in game. Disable Xbox Game Bar, Radeon Overlay, Origin Overlay, and go to task manager and end the Radeon Software task. This will buy you about an hour or so of uninterrupted gaming, but that's about it. 
 
As for me, I will be returning this card to the store, and going to Nvidia. I will be purchasing the ASUS 2060 Super 8GB Strix 
 
I so badly want to support AMD, but this is ridiculous. I shelled out over $300 for this card and it doesn't work. Further more owners of the 5700 XT have been suffering with these issues for what 7 or 8 months now? This is truly unacceptable.

Unless I'm mistaken, the 250x and 7870k aren't compatible for dual graphics. The highest end compatible gpu is the R7 250 (non-x).
 
/Just a 250x is still faster than a 7870k+250 though. 

You should really double check your results (and make sure you're running the same in-game settings/resolution) when running off the APU and when running off the GPU as those results don't seem right. The 250x should easily outperform your 7870k. 

Probably not a virus or Windows 10 related.
 
It seems like a driver problem from first inspection or a hard pagefault. You could find out by checking the number of interrupts using something like LatencyMon or Xperf.

I find gaming and multitasking i can get over 8GB,   i have 16 and i think that should be the min,  if your not multitasking while gaming 8 should be fine 

I would say 8 is fine for most people
But I always over load RAM it's cheap and unused ram goes to buffers and cache to increase read performance on your HDD
Just keep in mind that windows automatically increases the size of you swap file based on your RAM amount assuming you haven't changed those settings

If you are 'fine' with 4GB then you definatley have no need for 16

8GB should be enough. If not, you can buy another 8GB. Better to buy one set and test, rather than buying the full 16GB and not needing it. 

I'm downloading the demo right now. I beat Fallout 2, 3, and New Vegas. I never played the first one though. I'm going to try boarderlands.

Just bought H1Z1 a few days ago, and theres a game mode called "Battle Royale", its kinda like the hunger games

Depending on which SImCity do you mean. If the 2013 version then it's a lot better then that. The starting building area is as big as it is there. And you can buy 9 more. And there is mods that allow you to buy 25 of those areas.
 
It has a lot better under the hood simulation. It has some flaws but you can play the game around them. A big part of the game is traffic management. If you fuck up traffic then services stop working and your city will die.
 
But the game is very much in the same style as SimCity games.
 
It also has a ton of Mods on Steam workshop. Anything from extra unique buildings and parks to pre-built intersections to different traffic management toos to various analysis tools.
 
There is even a helicopter mod that allows you to fly an helicopter through your city.

That looks like windows 10. Windows 10 is not released yet, so, it could literally be anything at this point. 500 is not terribly much, though, and a system will scale its idle usage based on how much ram you have. So a 2GB system will use a couple hundred MB, 4GB more, 6, 12, etc.
 
My 16GB system uses about 1-2GB idle. But my 2GB system uses less than 500mb

I'm just going to answer the question about why core temp and socket temp are so different. The socket temp is actually measured under the chip, core temp inside the chip. So for real world use, always use core temp.

You shouldn't make two threads about the same problem. AMD usually have higher temps and if you're overclocking it, it should have higher temps.

Don't double post. Temperature sensors on AMD  often have a mind of their own. 

Had same problem with my 8350. It has something to do with cpu not reporting temps correctly or reporting them differently compared to other cpus. Speccy can't read it properly. To monitor cpu I used software that came with MSI motherboard. Actually your temps are fine, they just are not displayed properly.

my ongly suggestin is a higher teir 80+ certified marking, likle maby gold if you can get that for a resonable price because its more efficient
