    Also not true.

    Simply download the profile and application from a webpage, trust the certificate, and launch the app.....

    Following Apples actions against FaceBook for violating the App Store ToS, Apple has aimed its sights at Google next.

    The Screenwise app:
    Google apparently stopped the service preemptively upon seeing Apple take action against FaceBook. This did not stop Apple from cracking down on the violation however.
    Google provided a statement:
    Apple still revoked the certification to ensure enforcement. Google has not lost any certifications for its public Apps, but it will have to reapply for an Enterprise Certification, similar to FaceBook.

    A reminder of what Enterprise developers are allowed to use their apps for:

    This is great news. As long as Apple continues to remain in the spotlight and fighting for consumer privacy, the public mindshare of Apple being an advocate for consumer privacy and data protection will continue to grow. If Developers cannot follow the rules of the platforms they are publishing their content on, then they will lose the right to publish said content. Follow the rules and everything is Gucci.

    Seems like a pretty clear cut case to me. Facebook and Google broke the Apple Developer TOS and got their enterprise profile revoked.

    Just to clear things up, if you are an apple developer you have access to a few profiles to use for development. For engineers, you have to whitelist your test device's UDID to the development profile to build directly onto the device. Obviously, for internal testing, this doesn't quite work if you have a large company because you'd have to add every device individually. To mitigate this, the enterprise profile is used (and is what Facebook and Google are using to sideload), which allows your app to install on any device with the profile, with the only restriction being it only being used for internal testing. The last type of profile is the distribution profile, which cannot be installed on any device, but is used for submission for app review. (There's a fourth ad-hoc profile that also requires a whitelist of UDIDs, but is used for final testing for QA, as it's considered to be as close to production as is possible without being a production build.)

    These apps were never meant to be distributed outside of the company, and doing so is a breach of TOS. It doesn't matter what the app actually is, the distribution method that Facebook and Google used is not allowed. Facebook could have released a completely harmless app this way, and if Apple found out, they'd do the same thing (of course, a harmless app is less likely to draw attention to itself).

    Note: I don't work for Apple. I'm just an iOS developer.

    System.out.println("The sum of 1 and 2 is " + (1+2));

    Java's string builder will treat integers before a string like integers (and do any math on them if necessary). Any integers after the string will be treated as strings (unless you wrap them in parenthesis so that the addition is processed first).

    E.g.

    System.out.println("1+2"+7+7) --> "1+277"
    System.out.println(7+7+"1+2") --> "1412"
    System.out.println("1+2"+(7+7)) -> "1+214"

    ^^^ I have the X, from everything I've seen the XR is better. If you already had an X I don't think it's worth the upgrade, but if they're both the same price the XR is faster and has a better camera and battery life, larger screen, and the only real loss is an IPS vs OLED display and 3Dtouch, both of which aren't biggies.

    No it's not... slower, worse camera processing and such, smaller screen and battery. Higher MSRP =/= better phone. It's a flagship phone, thus why the MSRP is higher, and it has a bit fancier build and screen. But it's not a better phone than the XR, it's the 1st gen of its form factor and tech, the XS and XR improve on it. Not enough to warrant an upgrade like I said earlier, but if you're buying new just get the latest one since there's no price difference.
