I'd suggest getting this AC WAP, Ubiquity is pretty good and it comes with the PoE injector so all you have to run to it is just the Ethernet cable.

I'd suggest getting AT LEAST a GTX 970. If you could get a 980, then you'll be enjoying those 4 years like a boss.

I got a GTX 780 2 years ago and it still plays games like GTA V and Fallout 4 like a dream.

Try to get an i5-4xxxk and use the savings to upgrade on the gpu.

    @Alayer
Be careful which XB240HU you buy, cos there's an older model that doesn't have G-Sync that is called exactly the same.  The G-Sync one can sometimes be found as XB240HU A, or XB240HU Abpr.  I nearly made the mistake of buying the wrong one in the shops, then realized the G-Sync model doesn't even exist in my country...

Hmm.... Some of these suggestions are actually pretty good.

I guess I should rephrase my quote: "the ATH M50X is ONE of the best headphones under $200."

But, I strongly believe that headphones depends on personal preference. I love the M50x, even after trying some Shure and Seinheisers of similar prices. Of course, other people will disagree and that's totally legit.

Try going to a Long & McQuade and try out the headphones there, if you can. That's what I did before buying my M50x from Amazon on sale.

Wow, you and I seem to be in the same boat. I too have to get my gf to Canada and plan a marriage soon. X)

Anyway, thanks for the advice. I'll keep an eye out for this monitor. Maybe I can get it on Black Friday for cheaper? We'll see...

    Heyyo,

Ah no worries, I know it's not always easy to get the desk space. I myself rock an Asus VE278Q and is the first time I've seen a 27" gaming monitor and they are quite glorious though. Lots of viewing space. People do give TN panels too much flak versus IPS or PLS tbh, my Asus monitor is a TN and the color quality is pretty damn good.
Old CRT monitors eh? Yeah I'm sure they'll like the bump in monitors to yours. Those big clunky things lol, I remember having a Dell gaming CRT where it split the screen into three parts to be able to push a 75Hz refresh at 1080P. It was badass... except you could totally see those spaces between the parts of the screen hahaha.
Also, working at Futureshop during the birth of the LCD? Man, everyone rejoiced at the lighter monitors and less storage space in our warehouse hehe. Albeit? Cheap LCDs did run rampant and had terrible ghosting issues... like, looked worse than when you get drunk in GTA IV kind of motion blur lol.
Anywho? Enjoy your new G-SYNC monitor amigo. I eventually plan on getting one someday... but I gotta get my gf to Canada and plan a marriage so... my money is accounted for in the next few years.

Hmm... You make some good arguments.

I'm not really a big visual kinda guy. So far, my monitor has kept me satisfied in terms of color quality. Then again, I've never owned a really good monitor to compare against. I use the AOC E2425Swd.

I can't buy a 27" inch. Got no space for it. Thanks for pointing out that deal though.

And finally, I won't be selling my current monitor. I'll give it to my parents. They use a really old, big ass monitor from like the mid 2000s. They'll appreciate my thinner and space-efficient monitor.

I had the krakens on my previous 760s, and it was not a very elegant solution (lack of vrm cooling). While you may reach slightly better overclocks, you are using the same cooler that came with my 780 ti, and even with my custom loop, My clocks are only like 30 mhz higher, as I was not reaching any thermal limits to begin with... (zotac cooler looks pretty bad, but works very well as a cooler)

Either get another used 780 and sli (may be more abundant with the release of the 980 ti), or sell it an get a newer card like the aforementioned 980 ti, or the soon to be released amd card.

If Massdrop is an option for you, they are having a drop on the Naos 7000 currently (-50%).

When it comes to similar mice, nothing really comes close to the Naos in terms of sensor, so you'd have to sacrifice a bit there if you went with other Naos mice, Func MS-3 or Qpad offerings.
