Hey guys,

This thread is actually two things in one. First, I need help deciding whether I should upgrade my GPU next year (with whatever new GPU is released) or water cool my current GTX 780 and overclock it. Second, I need help choosing the right cooler and case (and other stuff if need be) for water cooling my current GTX 780.

Here's my current build:

Core i7-4770k

Corsair H100i

Gigabyte Z87 mobo (GA-Z87X-UD3H)

Zotac GTX780 3gb AMP! Edition

256gb SSD

1TB HDD

Corsair 600M PSU

Cooler Master HAF 912 case

Now, if the majority decides that water cooling my GTX 780 is the way to go, then here's what I plan on buying:

NZXT Kraken G10 bracket

Corsair H75

Fractal Design RS

I need help choosing the case and the cooler only (I'm only going with the kraken G10. I don't want to go with custom cooling like EKWB or Alphacool). Just be sure that the case is wide enough to handle my motherboard and H100i. I couldn't mount the radiator with the fans inside my current case because of the heatsink on the top of my motherboard (google my mobo and you'll see what I mean). I also need to know if my PSU is good enough for handling all the water cooling and overclocking. Any other suggestions are welcome as well.

So, please participate in the poll and let me know what you think. I am currently playing GTA V, Borderlands 2 and Team Fortress 2. Basically, I'm not about gaming with "maxed out settings with 1440p" and stuff like that. For me, super smooth gameplay with 60+ FPS is what matters and 1080p is just fine. In fact, I will be buying a G-sync monitor hopefully this year or early next year. Can't wait....

Thanks a lot in advance, people. I know I can count on you good folks. :D

I had the krakens on my previous 760s, and it was not a very elegant solution (lack of vrm cooling). While you may reach slightly better overclocks, you are using the same cooler that came with my 780 ti, and even with my custom loop, My clocks are only like 30 mhz higher, as I was not reaching any thermal limits to begin with... (zotac cooler looks pretty bad, but works very well as a cooler)

Either get another used 780 and sli (may be more abundant with the release of the 980 ti), or sell it an get a newer card like the aforementioned 980 ti, or the soon to be released amd card.
