Honestly how hard is it to change settings for a console version compared to the pc version to make sure it runs well? It can't be that hard with what I know from dabbling in game engines. Just develop to your fullest extent on PC and tone things down for consoles until you hit your target frame rate at the given resolution. There is no excuse for lack of man power as an excuse to gimp the PC version.

I thought better of CDPR than this, the PC version better be up to snuff.

Turkish Coffee is really enjoyable if you know how to make and drink it properly. American coffee is bad in my opinion because they use subpar beans a lot and don't have the slightest inkling of proper roasting. Here they think a "dark roast" is you burning the coffee beans.

He uses what he has and "overpriced" is just a point of view, you may find a $1,000 SSD expensive where I might find a $10,000 SSD inexpensive.

Did it ever cross your mind that the Apple Watch is selling well because, shocker, its actually a good smartwatch that has proper marketing behind it?
Apple selling more than all of Android Wear in a weekend isn't some fluke. Google and co. talk the biggest talk yet let their "first to market" ideas whither and die.

Yes it could be said in a nicer way, but it does it the point across quite bluntly.

    1. A Pebble doesn't function entirely well with the Apple ecosystem. This is a product for people within the Apple ecosystem that want similar functionality out of a similar product like the Pebble. I prefer it this way too because the Android side of things aren't as cleaned up as they are for Apple. There is a higher quality with usability when you have an Apple product.
    2. I would prefer the screen to not be on in the first place. A well done gesture system that doesn't need to be the exact same movement all the time would work well. You're not going to be staring at the watch all the time, only when you move it to point at your face. This also saves battery life.
    3. If you think pulling your phone out of your pocket is easier than glancing at a watch, you are sorely mistaken. I have a watch simply because I am tired of pulling my phone out of my pocket to check the time. And I don't know about you, but traditionally a watch is removed before sleeping, so why would it be any different here? When you take your watch off for the night just set it to charge. It's a habit you get in to normally after time but get burned if you miss a night of charging.
    4. I agree the battery life is bad, but all you truly need is a day's worth of it. I won't say it shouldn't be better, but I would only con the Watch if it was under a day.
    5. Tell me, how often does someone change watch bands? I've done it once when the original wore out too much. I agree they should use standard sizing so I could use one I prefer over an Apple band, but I won't cry about it. The ones they offer a good enough variety for most people in the first place. I would also like to assume that the reason they use non-standard sizing is because of the design of the watch, which was more important than band sizing.
    6. It should be confirmed to be water resistant, but if you're diving in to a pool with a $450 piece of tech strapped to your wrist, that's your problem and not mine. But washing your hands, it should be able to survive that quite well. If you could point to some sources that say it does or does not survive that I'll be more than happy to read it.

Seems that way in every group of people. How it's handled here is interesting, plainly.

    Another of these? Oh boy.

    1. I prefer a walled garden in most cases, it creates quality control. Also, show me where you can stick a MicroSD card so that it doesn't have the chance of popping out and you loosing it, and does not conflict with the internals of the watch.
    2. Name them.
    3. That's your opinion.
    4. That's also your opinion.
    5. Again, that's your opinion. Why would I buy this? Because it's a good product. Do I care about the other people that buy the same product as me? No, I do not.
    6. This does more than a Cartier watch, which is much more expensive. To be honest with you, the Watch is a good value.

I would say that's a dangerous opinion to throw around. No matter how correct you are, and in this case you're spot on, it's unpopular for those who oppose.

I have to question why everyone is disgracing the Watch simply because it's popular. You buy a car because why? It's popular, because it's a good car. What's the difference here? Nobody here except @eunique has provided any reasoning why they don't like the Watch. It's always been "well it's Apple, I don't like Apple." Congratulations for having an opinion. I don't like apple pie, but I could give you a reason for it.

You can only deal with so many options before they become redundant. So your point is slightly moot. And I'm sure you've seen the inside of the Watch, there isn't space to put a MicroSD slot inside of it.

Also, I'm not going to go through the effort of taking my phone out of my pocket when I can just twist my arm slightly. Why go through the added effort for the same result? I know I'm not going to, and it's the same with a lot of other people because watches of all prices still sell.

People spend thousands on a watch because they can afford it. The kind of person that can put down 10-20 thousand for a watch, isn't exactly struggling to make a decision. They don't need to think. They just buy. This is the market we are dealing with.
And it seems to be working not only for AP, Rolex, Tag and Patek; but Apple as well. Do you really think people spend 20,000 on a Royal Oak because of the intricate craftsmanship or how much heart and soul it has? No, they spend it because it has a name. Because its a good looking piece of "I've made it in life". The Edition sends the same message.
It does take two to quarrel, yet I'm not the one making the same shitposts in every Apple thread about how consumers are sheep, fanboys, idiots or peasants; nor am I digging up the same tired responses about how Apple is overpriced for everything or too stupid or whatever other flavour of bullshit that the kids have this week.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. If I had my way I'd straight up ban people from my threads. Not people like you, or Pras; you guys often make arguments I can agree and respect. No, I'd ban all the other fucking morons who insist on derailing threads like this with their shitposts, even after people have told them to piss off and stop.

    1. some products yes. others no. But you also need to take into account you also get amazing support from Apple (something that's pretty much non-existent with other companies).
    2. Be more sensationalist, I dare you.
    3. What's paid exactly? I've been using a Mac for the past 8 years now, and I've had to buy nothing for it.... I've been using an iPhone for 2 years now...and again...I've had to buy nothing. The same is also true for my Galaxy Note, or the Android phones I had for the 3 years before I got an iPhone.
    4. So people like OSX/iOS therefore buying an Apple product and anything that might benefit it's use is stupid. Okay, that makes sense.
    5. See # 2.
    6. Most people I know have at least one Apple product....so are you telling me the majority of the US is rich? really....
    7. While the Genius Bar is filled with idiots, they do eventually solve any issues you're having, and are helpful to most people in learning how to do something they needed help with.

@zappian now you're just full of it.
The only thing that the Watch lacks is GPS, it has EVERYTHING ELSE. Wifi, BT, the most accurate HRM of any smart watch so far, will have its own dedicated apps and since it can use WiFi doesn't need to be tethered to a phone in the same room.
Tell me, what features is it missing? Last I checked, it's packing exceptionally competitive equipment into a chassis that is better built and less bulky and it's doing it with a smaller battery that, is user reports can be believed, is exceeding the 19 hour usage rating of the device already.
Oh, you don't need a android phone to tether your Wear watches? Do you think either side is switching phones just for a watch? Hell no. Android users will have their own, Apple will have those + the Watch (since Google is working on bringing Android Wear to iOS). Who in their right mind is going to switch entire ecosystems just for a watch? Fairly unlikely.
The expensive versions are for rich people. Not for poor people like you. Get over it. This is how luxury goods work. Their is the entry level that is deliberately cheap. There are expensive versions for those who can afford it. Don't act Iike Apple is unique, EVERYONE would try this if they could pull it off.
People like you make no sense to me. At least when people like @euniqe make their case, I respect their arguments because they actually have valid arguments that aren't rooted in childish outbursts. You have nothing. You keep up the same tired old shit in every thread, people are getting sick of it even if they aren't confronting you. FFS, you're enough of a child that your blog is "mainly Apple bashing" and you expect to be taken seriously at the discussion table?

As I said before, that "trash can" is a fully featured workstation computer that is still smaller than most if not all the DIY solutions for X99 rigs on the market. It contains a fully upgradable 2011-3 CPU, full sized RAM for future upgrades, still can hold 2 workstation class GPUs in that small a footprint AND it doesn't thermal throttle - that is how well engineered the case and packaging is. Oh, its whisper silent even under load.
So yes, that trash can works well. Do you have any other shitposts to make?
Do yourself and the rest of this site a favour; think before you post again and don't get pissed off when people call you out on your shitty attitudes and contrarian crap. Especially kids on this site who have to ask mom and dad for stuff. Like please, sit the fuck down. You can't even manage your own finances and you dare lecture people on how they spend?

These are the kinds of people who actually don't say this in real life because they don't have any balls to speak of, they just talk the talk on the internet.
