2FA reacted to GoodBytes in Microsoft's real reason for purchasing GitHub has now become clear | Your private GitHub repositories aren't actually "private" anymore
Wow.. how did you twist that one up?
All it says is that the coming up Visual Studio has a feature that allows you to to simply put a URL of a git project and import it for you to get started more quickly, and configure Visual Studio coding style with the one detected.

This has NOTHING to do with buying GitHub... It just executes Git clone command on the back to fetch the project for you, and guess the coding style it puts to configure your Visual Studio to follow. It is just a quick starting feature.

Their web crawlers are automated but if you want to speed it up, you can submit the URL to the search engine. In the case of Baidu, you need to create a Baidu webmaster tools account. For the record, I found all of this information with about 40 seconds of searching.

NIST defines the US Imperial Units in Metric Units.

Thus this affects the US as well.

Assuming they didn't use proxies and a VPN, yes. Selly probably wouldn't give that up without a subpoena though so they'd at most close the account since $25 doesn't amount to a meaningful crime.

There are ways around that by exchanging the Bitcoin into hard to track coins like Monero using anonymous exchanges to launder the money. Of course there exist exchanges that don't require verification either but you still have to trust them.

This would effectively just be a payload with method of delivery determined by the attacker. It doesn't really do anything except for reading data it shouldn't.

I appreciate the sentiment towards making sure terms are used correctly, but this statement is really bad. If you don't resist during, lets say a car jacking, then it wasn't a crime because you didn't attempt to stop it?

2FA got a reaction from Jtalk4456 in What should schools teach?
I took a half day electrons/computer class my junior and senior year, but because of that, I couldn't take anything else that was an elective since I had still had to take core classes for graduation. I even had to do a solo/online PE class my senior year so I could take Algebra 2/Trig as I couldn't take it my junior (when you would normally take it) due to scheduling issues but I absolutely needed it for university. Luckily my half day class had its own requirements (since it was part of BOCES, not my school district) which included modules dedicated to personal finance and resume writing.
