Chances are that it will become fully watercooled, since I am obsessed by the beauty of a full EK loop.
I am not yet a 100% sure because I simply don't need it.
Clean up the hard drives at the bottom.

AxelPeeters reacted to LinusTech in List of Problems with the Shield Tablet
1. Not my experience
2. Not my experience
3. I've heard of this. My understanding is they are RMAing affected units
4. I can't remember how long it ran, but it was longer than 3 hours in Trine 2 for me, and honestly I don't know why you'd want to game directly on the device anyway. It's all about gamestream imo.
5. The wifi direct controller works on 5GHz if 2.4GHz is congested. I validated this with my spectrum analyzer
6. 1080 streaming only works with a wired connection at all. Was never advertised to work wirelessly
7. I've done this with the SHIELD portable, but admittedly I haven't tried it on the tablet. I did see NVIDIA doing it at the press event though....
8. Yeah... Were you expecting a fully dual analog stick controller on screen? Why would you want to game like that anyway?
9. My power button isn't great either, but my volume rocker is good. It seemed like a minor thing and I didn't mention it during my review.

AxelPeeters reacted to Ashley in Google’s $1B purchase of Twitch confirmed — joins YouTube for new video empire
I think everyone is overreacting a bit...
Google learned their lesson with G+ integration into YouTube and got major hate for it. They're backing off on G+, and name enforcement and such because they know it is not popular. They need traffic to keep their sites up and money flowing in.
However... I am worried about copyright issues.

I don't render, I just want to have a 6/8 core for stuff that probably doesn't need it but screw it, I want one!

AxelPeeters reacted to WoodenMarker in Need CPU help
Not necessarily and probably not that good of a value as well. CAD renderers tend to be very well optimized for taking advantage of the fx 8 core's architecture.
It's likely he'd be better off with a 8320 and getting access to more 8320, cheap older dual xeon, or other 'borrowed' render nodes if more power is needed unless he's working with some very heavy projects that wouldn't settle for anything lower than a 3930k.

Hopefully you'll like the real thing also
Thanks! It's one of the reasons I was so careful to get the materials right in the renders, means one can test stuff out before committing to any purchases.
Then you're going to enjoy today...
Haha no don't think like that! I'm some random guy making this thing in his bedroom without even a table to use as a workbench. If you believe in your idea enough you can definitely make it happen with great results!
UPDATE!
UPDATE! So I finally had the time to sit down, thread all the larger holes, make the O-rings and get a preliminary leak test going. To be honest it was a pretty painless operation actually. The threads were simple enough, the O-rings were a little fiddly but seem to have come out well and the testing itself appears to be going smoothly. The only dye I had lying around was blue, so I used that to try and see if there were any major leaks. Thankfully I could only see one, which looks to be from a fitting (a spare 45° one I had, the o-ring doesn't have a strong seal). There does appear to be a small issue with air currently though. For some reason, in my design I didn't take into account that air would be able to move from the reservoir back into the loop through the top. I'll take some more pictures later showing what I mean. It's not a huge issue by any means though and may just need some creative filling instead. Here are some pics for now, since I'm still working on stuff I'll take more later. Must say though that I'm bloody impressed with the pump so far. Got it running at 4 currently and it's quieter than the overhead lighting!
Front Back Blue!
