I bought the mx master and wasn't sure how it'd go for gaming but I love it! My pc usage is like 50% gaming and 50% web browsing. I play pretty much everything, and i love the mouse. If you are leaning towards it i'd suggest getting it.

Red's are designed for gaming but it's funny because many people hate gaming with reds and prefer blues or browns. 

AudioTechnica ATH M50x? A lot of youtubers swear by them. No Mic (Would need to add $40 for Antlion ModMic)

Build a desktop. I was faced with the same problem 6 months ago, and decided to go for the desktop. I don't regret it in the slightest The performance comparison from a decent laptop to a decent desktop is massive. 

buy a i5 4690k insteed of the i7 and buy a gtx 970 for the money you made
