    Hyper-V isn't available?

So I'm trying to practice some virtualization bullshittery for my MOS school and for whatever reason my laptop won't let me turn on Hyper-V features as it's not even visible in the menu to be enabled even though virtualization is enabled in the bios and all. I've tried other hyper visors and none of them are working. Any idea?
  3. So I just got back from Parris Island for Marine Corps boot camp so I've been out of the tech scene for three months and I don't really know what GOOD gaming / productivity laptops are on the market right now- I'm looking for something with a great CPU for video editing but also a capable GPU for gaming. My budget is like $1500 and under so I'd love to see what you can do (peep me with my expert shooting badge)
  4. I'm a damn Marine now!

  5. Anybody got any good game recommendation?

Remember Me; it's like Mirror's Edge, Blade Runner, and Tomb Raider all stuck together

Also, Orwell and Life is Strange

  6. I'm very proud of my latest build.

The cute little Cryorig M9 tower!

  7. I've been told I won't have access for the first 13 weeks, but that's fine. I could always wait until after to pick one up but I'd like to perhaps grab one and keep it in storage.
  8. I'm getting a pretty big signing bonus so really nothings off the table. Looking for something ideally slim / portable but powerful and won't die in the South Carolina summer.
  9. So I've just joined the US Marines, and I'm looking for a laptop / potentially a small form factor desktop setup that I can have with me on base so I can play games in my free time. Looking for something that I could comfortably run PUBG, Overwatch, etc. on. Thanks.

Trying to run PUBG on old hardware

Anyways, I've got some hardware laying around that I want to throw together so I can build a system for a unfortunate kid (home problems) who's staying with me and my family. Before I either 1. buy some better hardware, or 2. build with what I've got I wanted to know if you guys think I could get PUBG to run on the following hardware at a decent enough frame rate. CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 GPU: Nvidia GT 750 2GB RAM: 2x2GB DDR2 667Mhz And if these specs can't run it, what's the minimum specs you guys think I could get away with. Thanks for any help you guys can give! I really want to be able to play some PUBG with him, as well as introduce him to the PCMR.
  11. Hey guys, looking for a server case that is around 10 inches deep, and 2U's in form factor. I have a very small closet with a small rack going into it and I just need a case that can fit an ITX motherboard and a few drives, bonus points if it can fit an expansion card. Anyway's let me know what you guys find! Thanks! Rack I'm using for Comparison https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VDPBXM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

200€ Monitor for Animation and Photoshop

Get IPS or go home. You should not do any color sensitive work on anything that isn't an IPS panel. Go to PCPartPicker, select monitors and filter by IPS and find one that has the resolution you want and you'll pretty much be good to go.
  14. Dope new video! Skip about a minute in to see the short film I made to demonstrate the lens!
