AnimeDudeJ got a reaction from Eigenvektor in Driver signature enforcement (windows 10)
i actually ended up randomly finding out something that will confirm for sure.
turns out easy anti-cheat games will refuse to run if you have driver signature enforcement disabled!

AnimeDudeJ reacted to Kill3rblack in Morrowing multiplayer
i have attempted the morrowind mp mods before, but all of them had their noticeable flaws. some of them had bugs preventing you from interacting with other people, other would be bugged to the point where you couldn't even see another person. It's an awesome idea, but very flawed.

AnimeDudeJ got a reaction from ShadowCaptain in Phone video adapter question (micro USB to lightning to hdmi/vga)
Thanks for the answer. Ill try and see if it works with my second solution if not my old chrome cast might suffice as a temporary solution though in that case I might as well just bring my iPhone 6 and use the adapters they have at work
Will post results tommorow

Only if the port supports MHL which the samsungs do not have, and i doubt you could pass that through lightning anyway
You would have to use a wireless solution streaming off the S7 edge as it doesnt have wired video out

AnimeDudeJ reacted to Technous285 in Pokemon platinum aus version
With my old Gen4 carts, that picture looks about right for the Aussie version of Platinum. NTR-****-AUS (eg: NTR-IPKE-AUS for my HeartGold cart) is the code for Australian DS (Codename: Nitro) carts.
Also, with those old carts, there wasn't much in the way of region lockout as I had D/P/Pt carts in US, Aus & EU regions (one of each) with my DSLite & DSi and all 3 carts worked fine in both units.

AnimeDudeJ reacted to vorticalbox in Website Design, Storefront, Server and HMTL help required
Good place to start, really you probably do a HCI design but seeing as you are the client and the users you can just make it up
You'll to think about white space, flow of items (using different colour to pull people eye to a part of the site) and making sure colour compliment or contrast but don't clash.

AnimeDudeJ got a reaction from MrRavens in [Scandinavia] Asus strix Deal Komplett
i dont understand where you get the "sketchy" bit. thought i see you're not Scandinavian so i understand it. in short (and this is for Norway) in Norway we have an added value tax of 25% thought right now with the Norwegian kroner in the gutter you cant simply take the Canadian/US price and add 25% anymore... actually i think we're technically getting the GPU's at least cheaper than before even though the prices have gone up as of late
also or Norway, Denmark and Sweden Komplett is among the best tech websites out there with 100% free shipping within their respective countries' websites (also norway's being shafted now as the rest of the sites' GPU's are at the same price)

The spec is solid enough, but I've made some tweaks for you to consider:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Micro Center) CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS10X OPTIMA CPU Cooler ($14.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: Asus H97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard ($107.24 @ Amazon) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($86.82 @ Amazon) Storage: Sandisk Solid State Drive 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($59.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.98 @ OutletPC) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card ($349.98 @ NCIX US) Case: BitFenix Prodigy (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case ($59.98 @ OutletPC) Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($49.99 @ Newegg) Case Fan: BitFenix Spectre 97.8 CFM 230mm Fan ($16.98 @ OutletPC) Case Fan: Antec TRUEQUIET 140 32.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($9.57 @ OutletPC) Total: $1010.51 I've added a 230mm fan and 140mm fan because the Prodigy can use them. The 230mm can be an intake, the 140mm can be the rear exhaust and the two 120mm that come with the case can be used as exhaust on the roof. Changed the CPU for the 4690k and the mobo for a H97 mITX board. More expensive but it's worth it for the extra performance you get with it. I changed the CPU cooler because it performs the same as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, but often costs less. If you can't find that Zalman cooler, also look out for the NZXT Respire T40, Deepcool Gammaxx 300/400 and other 120mm tower CPU coolers. They all perform very similar. You should also consider getting a cheap but good SSD. Your choice of a blower cooler GPU is a solid one, for a mITX build blower coolers are great, they won't add hot air to what is ordinarily a restricted airflow environment. Look out for all RAM for a better price. 2x4gb=8gb kits are preferable. Try to find something with 1600mhz minimum and as low a CL as possible, CL9 for 1600 is good, CL8 is better, but keep your eye open for a good price. The PSU doesn't need to be that powerful. 500w is plenty, but you want to make sure it has enough pci-e ports to power your graphics cards. Get one from a reputable brand with 500w/550w or 600w if the price is good.
