Some games utilize different parts of the card differently
if the card is hitting its max boost bin and only using 150w then its not like it can consume more.
In normal testing TH found that same 390X used 294w and the 980 used 175 in their individual reviews
 

That's not how entrapment works. Entrapment is if they coerce you to do something you weren't already going to do.

Yeah I agree, if something thinks they have the right to take away from someones revenue while using their content they have the same right to not show you content

I don't really know what to say on the topic, i don't think AMD processors are up to the task of VR in any amount, but then im sure something on the intel side thats pretty slow gets though 
 
Jesus Oculus tells you to compare on Passmark, a multi threaded benchmark where 5960X gets twice the score of 4590 they recommend but will probably tie it in games at best.
 
And what else beats 4590 in PM?

That's why im criticizing Occulus for telling people to compare CPUs in Passmark.

Somewhat irrelevant sure, but even the 7990 is still nothing to scoff at, when scaling works out its about as fast as a Fury

It will probably be even more watered down than Skyrim.

They said recently there is no plans to support mods as it's an online game. 
 
But do you not realize this game is more demanding than crysis  3 is?

The reality is pc brings  in less revenue than the consoles do, and is the most expensive to develop for

you do know how Intel manufacturers CPU's right, all the 1151 CPU's come from the same Silicon wafer. The dual cores are damaged quadcores that they use a laser to cut the other 2 damaged cores off. Of course theres binning in place. IE 6100 vs 6320.
 
The PCB to all the Skylake CPU's are the same, there is no danger. Only thing in danger is Intel's revenue.

I don't think multiplayer only should be treated as an incomplete or discount item, unless you're gonna say witcher 3 or Fallout should be discounted for not including it.
That mind set is what forces Sp games to include pointless MP modes and MP games to waste their time and effort on SP.
It's better to not do something than to half ass it in my book and id rather Respawn didn't waste their money and skill on SP that might get finished by 8% of players if it's lucky

Sure the media is picking apart what he says for anything they can rip on, and he's not given them any shortage of quotable lines. i'll be watching with popcorn for what the american people finally decide.
