not sure if you know this, but 2600s (and all non-k sandy i7s and i5s) actually have a partially unlocked multiplier that goes up to 8x higher than base clock (meaning exactly 4.2 for the 2600). I actually tested it and it works like a charm - it'd just need a better cooler, but I'm on it

I'm tempted right now... Does having a glass screen protector help with the plastic screen?

The standard combination to lock gimballed weapons is CTRL+G. I would recommend doing this with the 325a, yes.
Also, ALT+M will dis- or enable relative mode, which really helps me controlling my ship. It was a feature added in 1.3, but I have it always disabled as I can't fly with it on.

Finally got my 980 Ti and booted up SC (still takes forever to load on an ssd). Just started walking around my shiny 325a for an hour before I even attempted to go into free flight, and that is where everything went to shit. Why is there so much mouse lag/delay? It games like Elite Dangerous and flying jets in BF4, there is none. And where is the controller support? I see the settings tabs and can rebind buttons, but nothing changes. My ps4 controller works fine in those other games, but only a few buttons activate things in star citizen... I feel like I wasted $80 on this crap.
WTF am I doing wrong?
Edit: I reinstalled the game, rebound all my keys and such, works fine now. ._.

MSI includes a small connector/jumper that has labeled connections on it so that you can use to plug all the case cables into it and then that connector into the motherboard.

hmmmm, i guess that is why i can't find any modules anywhere. Well, screw that then, which ever is cheapest but still functions great.
All i really wanted was a 144hz, 1ms monitor that won't look like how a toilet brush smells, anything more is great too....but then there is price...lol.

boboman342 reacted to Belgarathian in Triple G-Sync Display Setup - Please Help w/ Monitor Selection
I personally contemplated what you're going through now and have looked at most options so I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can.
I'm personally running SLI 970, Acer Predator X34 so similar to your setup (within reason).
What you're going to want:
IPS - If you're going for a tri-screen or ultrawide setup, your viewing angles are going to cause colour distortion on TN panels. 1080p monitors would be cheaper, and best. A single Ti gaming on 7680x1440p isn't going to be a great experience. 27" is the way to go, I had a triple 24" 1080 setup and I was left wanting something larger. 100Hz is more than enough, and driving 1440p at 100Hz with a Ti would be difficult. And 5760x1080p is going to be just as hard. I would highly recommend looking at the ultrawide options over a 3x27".
In the end, I went with the Acer Predator X34 1440p ultrawide and don't regret it, I've moved to a single screen and it has more than enough real estate for everything I do. If you're going to chose, Asus have a great Ultrawide coming out in early '16 and BenQ to my knowledge have a great 1080p ultrawide as well.

boboman342 reacted to Glenwing in A lot of complaints from customers who bought the ASUS ROG PG279Q
It's the same story with every high end monitor ever. PG278Q, PG279Q, XB270HU, FG2421... People with issues are much more likely to leave a complaint than people without issues, and it's just that effect amplified ten times over because these products are only purchased by people with an interest in tech an are more active in the community. QA isn't any worse on this monitor than on any other monitor.
LCDs in general are just a pretty broad lottery.
