If you are doing intense video editing or rendering the 4790k is worth it. But for gaming its not.

I would go C70. And don't waste money on a H100i if you are getting a 4790. You can't over clock a 4790 so a h100i is pointless

Now by no means are they bad they pretty much are the top of the line boards. But if you are on a budget or already have a good board (which you do) then the upgrade is not worth it. But that wont stop me from getting one in my upcoming build.

Not true the low end ones do not preform about the same. If you saw Linus's video. He put a $2500 Xeon against the i7 4790 and it preformed the same. DO NOT GET A $200 XEON. Get a i5 4690K.
