Vbgf got a reaction from Oshino Shinobu in Need help in decision to upgrade memory
This is only if your motherboard support the so called "flex" mode. If it doesn't then the dual channel operation will be disabled.
Either way the recommendations still stand.

Vbgf got a reaction from Anghammarad in PC only utilizing half of my Gigabit internet connection?
Well depends on the ISP plan. Maybe they don't actually give you 1Gbps download.
For example my ISP advertises my connection as 80Mbit but i can download at 80 and upload at 20. I contacted them and they told me my download to upload ratio is 4:1. Oddly enough i've not seen a plan that gives you more upload than download until now

Vbgf got a reaction from Anghammarad in Is this a good setup?
I would suggest you up your PSU slightly so you can swap components for more power-hungry ones in the future without thinking about it especially now when AM4 is here to stay.

Vbgf reacted to Th3 Mans1ay3r in Paragraph to convince my parents to let me build a PC.
I'm going to sit here and try my best to make it rhyme, titled "Let the Dude Build a PC"
Let the Dude Build a PC
by Th3 Mans1ay3r
A PC isn't too hard to put together
With the proper precautions and knowledge there is no danger
To build a PC it may take a lot of time
But so did writing this dumb ass rhyme
PC's are POWERFUL
Consoles are shameful
Letting the dude build one is good for his education
Saying no will only lead to devastation
Let the dude build a PC
It'll be worth it, you'll see
I can't really think of more to write
Hmm... If you say "no," nigga we'll fight
End

Vbgf got a reaction from Vitalius in plasti dip my HDD's
I've got a HDD wrapped in Ducktape (No, seriously) and i have not seen any temp increase. The paint will probably be less of a threat to your HDD.

Vbgf got a reaction from Shrubpig in 5770 to a 560 ti 448 core
I have a 965BE, those chips are awesome, you won't have problems with most GPUs. Now you will bottleneck the crap out of a 780ti that's for sure, but a r9 270 will be good.
What kind of budget do you have? And where are you going to pick your parts from, link a retailer that you are comfortable buying from if you want so we can suggest some GPUs for you.
