It’s official. I am currently in better shape,…

Ya love to hear it. I've been getting into back into biking shape, as each year I bike super far. Last year I biked across the entire state of michigan in 3 days with about 40 people. Just takes a bit of training that I have slacked on. Also good to hear that you're sticking to a diet!
  3. Peruse your local electronics recycling plants if one exists near you, check out local government buildings like schools and ask about any recycled electronics. If you are lucky you may snag one for free. Good luck!

I am aiming for 32 gb of ram from the random 20…

They make DDR3 and 2 but no waifu's sadly
  5. Well fair, its part of the insert platform setup. its been a thing 2018. I think its more entertainmeant and a hey is this a bad idea or not and what products are good vs bad. This episode is hey buy from aliexpress because its much cheaper.
  6. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/LXDcLs new 12600kf combo alternative board would be the b760m ds3h but that adds an extra 30£ https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/XYWnBL used 5600x combo used 3600x ~50£ if you want it cheaper used midranger b3/450 like the tomahawk/pro4 or equivalent for ~50£ or less alot better than new lowend boards none of these will have any worthwhile upgrade path by the time youd wanna upgrade so price/performance is king and you dont wanna be overspending on boards this also has numbers for the 12600k and 5600x imo used am4 is much better value due to how much cheaper it is both cpu and board and you can actually get dirt cheap but actually good boards

what kind of incentive is this... leave reviews…

i would have been PISSED lmao
  8. AIOs are prone to permeation over time, especially with a high heatload CPU, and/or a very warm environment. I would not buy a used AIO unless it was from someone I know, and I knew the history of his PC. Maybe the seller was not impressed, or got cold feet due to price/perf. ratio, or maybe it was old and worn out, or maybe he damaged it then said feck it and put it on ebay.. or maybe there is nothing wrong with it We may never know..
  9. Do your potential clients have full access to their websites or have full backup (website files and DB dump)? How is hosted mail for these domains? Minimal VPS starts from €1/mo
  10. afaik minecraft cares more about single core speed so i dont think it benifits from the cache https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/qQ6cL9 7600 + 32gb 6000c30 + 3080ti went for am5 as the 7600 with some pbo tuning should be close enough to 5800x3d performance and obliterate it in games that dont benifit from the cache also you arent stuck on a dead platform so you can drop in a new cpu without needing to mobo or ram swap speaking of which board will offer much better i/o and vrms compared to any intel or am4 board for a given price because of how overbuilt they are, this board in particular has 17 usb a (9 usb3 + 8 usb2) and 2 usb c ports in total so yeah complete overkill but you wont be needing a board swap thats for sure and the cheaper options were bad value otherwise id have gone for something like a b650m hdv, also board is black so if you are going for an all black build which it seems you are judging by the cooler itll also look better with an all black board ssd should perform similarly or abit better than the ancient 980 pro, for alternatives theres the a440 and m480 pro psu has been upgraded to an 850w whilst being cheaper, having a 10 year warranty, and no fan noise complaints aside from that one guy with a 650w version but unclear if thats fan noise or just coil whine (just search up rme fan noise and see for yourself) cut abit of cost on the case and since its a deepcool case it should match with the cooler btw try see if you can haggle abit on the gpu as you should be able to haggle a little bit of the price off the gpu since its used
  11. It sold....maybe he bought it? It probably would have been okay but yeah, I'd be pretty hesitant on a used one that I am buying online. I was looking at a used one - but I would meet up with the seller. Ebay is different. Generally, isn't NZXT AIOs pretty expensive - I have the impression that NZXT and Corsair AIOs are too of the most expensive brands - would that be accurate?
  12. That is very likely a defective LED within the fan hub. It should not behave like that.

Aw, cute. Kinda wish I had DDR4 computers for that honestly Waifu DDR2 when??
  14. Yesterday my computer was working fine, turned off went to sleep. Came back home after work. And my two displays were not working. Put in the HDMI exit from my motherboard. Worked just fine. Computer gives 1 long beep the 3 short beep and after a few seconds another short beep In the device manager it's not showing up but there a PCI device and a SM bus controller. It might be it GPU lights up but fans don't spin. Tried re-seeding it also tried re-pluging the PCI E power cables to the card Any ideas? Or is dead? If is dead... how? It just gave up? My specs. gpu rtx 2070 Cpu intel i7 8th gen Ram 23gb 2666 mhz Motherboard TUF B360 gaming Windows 11
  15. Hey folks, I smelled something funky during my gaming session, and checked the temps. CPU/GPU temps were fine, so I looked around and turns out the VGA cable was melting at the PSU Connector. It's at the point where I can't even remove the cable without putting some serious force, and I'm scared I'm going to rip out the entire connector. I've shut off my pc, and plan to stop using it for a bit until I can get it fixed - do you think it's just the cable, GPU or should I replace the whole PSU? FWIW, I bought this PSU in 2022 and have been using it with no real issues. PSU: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=120-GP-1000-X1 ` GPU: RTX 3090 FE
  16. I upgraded my drive to a SSD of equal size. Ive used the OSU1 offline updater, unformatted, formatted (NTFS), different drives holding the OSU1 file. Ive also tried the Xbox One X hdd windows script then tried wit h the OSU1 updater. I've been troubleshooting for about 2days now, do you guys have any advice? is this a known problem? All the tutorials on YT have it solved in minutes but each video has be running into the same 3 error codes (E101,E102 and E106)

  18. I don't think a P9 exists (or at least quick searching didn't show one.)
  19. As in „all the videos where someone buys cheap shizz from China“. Obviously I don‘t dislike LMG as a whole with my post count here..
  20. Not only that, but they're making new and updated versions. The strange thing is that, although they're marketed as Sickleflow V2, the box doesn't show V2. Caused me to buy the same fan twice. The F9 is for airflow. P9 is for static pressure, which is good for moving air through a barrier like a dust filter, heatsink or radiator.

Organic Chem where it looks like it should be an easy transformation, but turns into a whole page of transformations because of stupid regiochemistry and steric hindrance.
  22. Honestly, a Synology 4 bay NAS would be better for a storage solution. But, if you wanted to re-use your existing hardware and try something else, then I'll recommend giving TrueNAS Scale a closer look (making a RAIDZ1 volume with ZFS, which is basically a RAID5 vol). Your biggest challenge will be a place to store your data to migrate it back. Which BTW, you should be having a backup system in place. RAID is not a backup; it's hardware fault-tolerance: very different concepts.
  23. do you already have this or is this a build you are planning? and what parts are you planning on buying? skylake is ancient and you shouldnt bother with it unless you get a dirt cheap office tower to slap a gpu in, you can buy a used 3600(x) or for worse used markets a 3100/3300x/3500(x) for ~50$ and a used b3/450 like the tomahawk or equivalent for ~50$ which makes those older gens irrelevant
  24. you won't get it: that being said, this one ain't bad: https://www.printables.com/model/499374-amd-ryzen-am4-cpu-clamshell-case

@da na The worst kind of equations are that look firendly but explode into an ugly construct. For the equation: Yeah ... should have seen that coming and choose with a different number than 0.5 where @RockSolid1106 approximation would fail and the "true" methods of approaching this are required. Sometimes you miss the obvious like 12*x >> tan(x) for a result of 0.5
