I use these:

  • Enhanced Night Skyrim or HLP nightsky
  • Enhanced Blood Textures
  • Birds and Flocks
  • WATER high res.
  • Superior Rocks
  • Ultimate HD Fire Effects
  • Skyrim Flora Overhaul
  • Road Snow Footprints
  • Real Effect Candle
  • Morning Fogs

You can try Realvision mod for ultra nice graphics, but it needs powerful PC & installation is complicated (didn't try myself yet)

I tried both enhanced nightsky & hlp & in hlp stars sparkle too much, that makes game unreal. So decided to go with enhanced version.

Better Dynamic Snow is good snow texture mod, although that might be covered in your winter mod.

The Darwins mods are good.

And Shooting Stars is a nice subtle novelty.
