UPDATE:

In a small chassis, temperatures are important. This thermal image from our labs show our latest GAMING family member only touching 76 degrees temperature under full-load in Furmark.

Kinda looks like a competitor to the Asus Impact+670 Mini.

I was scrolling down checking if anyone said this xD since I was going to say it but I'll play devilss advocate!

Mini-ITX mobo + mini R9 290

Console optimisations and how they will effect you | The difference between AMD cores and Intel cores | Memory Bus size and how it effects your VRAM usage |
How much vram do you actually need? | APUs and the future of processing | Projects: SO - here

Intel i7 5820l @ with Corsair H110 | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 1600Mhz | XFX Radeon R9 290 @ 1.2Ghz | Corsair 600Q | Corsair TX650 | Probably too much corsair but meh should have had a Corsair SSD and RAM | 1.3TB HDD Space | Sennheiser HD598 | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro | Blue Snowball

If it's exactly that image, it won't be. That's an SLI finger, not a Crossfire finger.

I read the title and thought MSI is coming out with a combined ITX with GPU in a tiny space like the steambox hardware :/

my iniital thoughts too xD; I think we should see a manufacturer such as MSI put a GPU die on a motherboard :D

PCIe x16? That's cute, mine's soldered to the mobo. :P

I'm thinking a 770, equivalent to the DCUII mini in price point and performance (at the time).

Intel i7 3770k, Maximus V Formula, 32GB G.Skill 1600MHz RAM, ASUS DCUII GTX 670

i was waiting for more 17cm cards to come out and compete with the directcu mini. for itx my ocd tells me that i need a card equal to the motherboard length. an itx msi gaming board will rain on asus impact parade. the asus one has too much pcb extensions on it and too much red plastic. i hope that they don't give the gaming itx the same layout as the regular itx, the power for the cpu is in the middle of the board. asus nailed it with the 24 pin and 8 pin on the side.
