need help with gpu coolers

you should not get this gpu unless you are interested in water cooling or small form factor systems. there are good deals out for better coolers that will get you good performance so i would just save for those if you cant afford them already.

 

instead just pay $10 more for this:

so i was looking in to get a GTX 970 but the only one in stock is a msi with default cooler

 

but i allready have a "Gigabyte GTX 760 2gb windforce x3"

 

soo can i take the gigabyte cooler and set it on the 970 ?

You'd be better off getting an R9 390 and no you can't transfer coolers between 2 cards as the PCB layout and therefore screw layout would be different. So unless you wanted to make a mounting bracket, no.

ok thanks for the help.

just needed to know if i could switch cooler and save some money, but ill get a prober cooled one
