I think that is what I will ideally do instead of the WD Black and I was looking through motherboards, just got a little nervous due to lots of negative reviews on a lot of the recommended boards that PCGamer said and other sources.

EDIT: I just got done looking at this cpu comparison and it makes me want a I7-4790k a little more but, will the 6600k do a ton more if I overclock it?

The LGA 1151 is a "tick generation" from intel, i.e. not a very big jump in preformance.  Linus has even said it himself, that a lot of people find themselves even running sandybridge processors because they are just as good for gaming. 1150 may be a dead socket, but it is a lot cheaper rn, and by the time there is any meaningful preformance boost in 1151, you will need a cpu upgrade anyways. IMO, go for the 1150 socket, and the 4790k will last you a while, expecially with its ability to overclock.

I am watching his video on it right now, probably should just stick with the LGA 1150 and overclock it.

Just as a random side note: Are the H100i GTXs reliable? I hear good and bad things about them and I don't wanna get a bad liquid CPU cooler.

Okay, I started looking at a NZXT Kraken X61 too, it is a 280mm but I am 99% sure my CM Storm Trooper supports a 240/280mm on the top.
