Building New PC

BewmBoom

Hello

My name is Raphael

I am building a PC for the first time and are all these parts are compatible with each other and are there recommendations on anything I should do

AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor

Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

EVGA Geforce Gtx 750 Ti 2GB FTW ACX Video Card

Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Ps I already have a cooler master v8 cpu cooler and a western digital blue caviar 640gb . I’m probably going to upgrade  either the hard drive or the Cpu Cooler. Please tell me if I should upgrade either of these two

Thank you for your assistance

Yours sincerely Raphael

  • If you want a cheap PSU I'd recommend the EVGA 500 or 600W units... Corsair CX aren't great
  • If you want a cheap CPU from AMD, you should be looking at the Athlon 860K on the FM2+ motherboard platform... when you get to the point of looking at an FX-4300 or 6300 you would be better off with an Intel Core i3 and B85 or H97 motherboard
  • You may want to look into a GTX 950 or R7 370 GPU, both of these are phenomenal performers for the price

Those are chipsets, not brands. Not really important for now since you won't be overclocking and are mainly just looking for the cheapest decent motherboard that will work with your CPU.

can this handle most games alright

Yes. You'll be able to play all current games at high or ultra settings at 1080p.

Oh, before I forget, you'll want to order a 92mm fan for the exhaust. The case only comes with one 120mm intake fan in the front.
