Any "child company?" think thats the term, no clue.

Anyone un-related to fox news is pretty trustworty

just make sure its not a religious dominated country

they'll only tell you what they want you to know

I personally don't trust any of the big "news" channels except maybe PBS, but the worst offenders are fox and msmbc for being political puppets

Lolno

Honestly no news source will be good, every one will have it's bias.

Here are some examples from yesterday:

Palastinian stabs and kills 2, injures infant and another woman - than is shot dead by military police

Al jazeera title

There is no such thing as an unbiased news source.

The BBC flip-flops on every issue every time there is a new party in charge in the UK.

I don't have much experience with the Arabic verison of Aljazeera, but the american version is a pretty liberal news source.

CNN is pretty much a castrated dog as this point. They have might have a bark, but they have no bite.

What I can recommend is getting your news from a varity of news sources, and then form your opinion based on the arguments put forward in the different articles.

Watch the left leaning channels like TYT, Secular Talk, Rubin Report and The Huffington Post.

But also watch the more right leaning news channels like Rush Limbaugh and The Blaze.

Unfortunatly, YouTube isn't really a good place to find right leaning news. However, in written media there is Breitbart News and The Drudge Report.

There is of course also news outlets in between the left and right leaning media.

Breitbart, Rubin Report , Huff Post. Should feed you with a variety of opinions to draw your own conclusions

As an ex the young turks fan stay away. Cenk has turned into the biggest child ever . He just shouts over his guests if he disagrees with them. Dave Rubin worked with them a few years ago . They ended up parting ways and he has ended up as a better version in every way.

I get my news from the BBC. I find it quite unbiased to be honest.

After all, I pay for the BBC to be unbiased so I hope it is.

In general any American outlet is going yo be biased strongly one way or the other.

Foreign outlets less so but at least they aren't as sensationalist.

I concur with getting news from multiple outlets on both sides of the political spectrum. If you read a story from a conservative outlet then by a liberal one about the same topic you can merge them and get a more complete picture.

Helps learning how to read between the lines.

Lastly of the news is in regards to a piece of legislation or about a crime. I suggest reading the legislation for your self or the official reports about said crime.

That way you can make your own decision on what to think.
