Is a intel 750 PCIe SSD worth the money?

I'm talking about this one right here ;

Are they worth it over normal SSD's?

i'm considering one of these in my upcoming build.

Hell no.

It's like Apple and Early technology.

Overpriced and under speced.

and ? there are people who need transfer speed more than graphics processing

these day SSD are damn cheap, still remember people said 1GB / Dollar is a damn good deal

Not unless you do content creation. I love mine for using Adobe CC applications, specifically Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After effects. For gaming though, totally not worth it. My PC is a workstation first and a gaming PC second. (No loading screen in Skyrim!)

In summary, not worth it AT ALL for a gaming PC.

So i should not buy one unless i do 'content creation' right?

I did see some videos about installing windows and other stuff and i was pretty impressed.

Installed windows 8 in like few seconds.

So i should not go with this one?

Stick with normal SSDs?

normal 2.5" SSDs will almost certainly fill your need, while giving you twice the capacity for the same price. they also don't take up a PCIe slot, which is much more limited than SATA

Aftermarket 980Ti >= Fury X >= Reference 980Ti > Fury > 980 > 390X > 390 >= 970 380X > 380 >= 960 > 950 >= 370 > 750Ti = 360

True, however, i dont need that much capacity to be honest with you, 400GB is plenty for me.

Besides i really can't put the money on something else on the build..

Not interested in upgrading to a 980TI or FURY X when the next GPU's are few months off.

So i rather stick with a 390 until the next ones are out.

"I need this ssd,i need this ssd, i need this ssd,"

Pretty much, uhhhh
