Hey i was just wondering im my this psu is compatible with this motherboard, i was thinking to myself if different PSU were for different motherboards

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI LGA 1150 Intel Z97

Every PC-PSU uses the same connectors.

Depending on the wattage they might come with less or more connectors.

Every PSU has a 20+4 pin motherboard connect and at least an additional 4 pin for the CPU power.

Try to get an EVGA PowerSupply, the G2/GS series.

Why?

The Rosewill PSU might be cheaper for him and does just as well.

You should first ask about his budget and where he lives, so you can compare deals.
