What's the difference?

The Official Czex
Go to solution Solved by SirRoderick,

I believe those are the same thing, with one ommiting the P because reasons.

This

Or

This?

I have no clue what the difference is. They cost the same, too!

Surely they're not the exact same? There has to be a difference, right?

If you check the newegg links they are the EXACT thing... Its just PC Part Picker that made two things about it.

So should I not opt for the "P" one because reasons?

Yeah they are, just a listing that doesn't have the full model name. You can check the LG website if in doubt.

LG do that with a couple of their displays, some of the time it is for a different revision with different I/O, sometimes it is just the way they market it to people like they will have a page for a -C which will be geared towards businesses (commercial), and a normal one to normal consumers, but in this case I can't really see a difference, everything seems the same, but I wouldn't worry about which to get because they will be using the same panel and everything anyway.

Maybe consider the 34UC87C instead though, it's the same, but with a few slight improvements such as a height adjustable stand. And in the UK at least it's the same price.

i5 4690k | GTX 980Ti G1 Gaming | 16GB RAM | MSI Z97 Gaming 7 | NZXT Kraken X61 | 850 EVO 250GB x2  | 1TB 850 Evo NZXT Noctis 450 | EVGA 750W 80+ Gold

 Ducky Shine 3 TKL (Browns) | LG 34UC87C | Logitech MX Master ATH-M50x's + DT990 Pro's

I'm pretty sure they're the same thing... But looking at the specs it says that one has 1 DP and 2 HDMI, while the other has 3 DP and 2 HDMI.

PC Specs: i5 4690k, MSI Z97 Gaming 5, HyperX Red 16Gb (4x4), Define R5, EVGA G2 750, Samsung 850 Evo 120gb + WD Blue 1TB, MSI TF5 GTX 970.

Peripherals: 1 x Asus VX239H, Logitech G502, Masterkeys Pro S, Superlux HD668B.

It really shouldn't matter... I mean wouldn't you be getting it from Newegg anyway?

And I would just go with the link that has the best reviews.

It'll be wall mounted on a swivel. I'll go with the non-P.
