Amazon isn't always the cheapest, I'll try and find elsewhere, will update if I find a cheaper one. That deal you posted tho, it's amazing!

Is it naive of me to hope that price cuts are in preparation for the PG279Q I am patiently waiting to be released?

I know, but usually for me a few dollars in difference are nothing when I get free 1 or 2 day shipping and an amazing customer service.

Please do tell more, I haven't heard a thing about that monitor.

Yeah I meant just for technology, well PC parts in general here in the UK, I usually shop at aria PC or novatech, both of which you've probably never heard of...

Basically, take all the things wrong with the PG278Q and fix them. That's what is next on the release schedule (rumored to be September-ish).

I've heard the name Aria PC before, of course I've never shopped at that store or any other for that matter from the UK.

So, the horrendous customer service, poor quality control and overpriced tag ?

Dammit September is gonna be a tough one, New phone flagships coming out, new monitors, there will be a new chipset out, I need to start saving like since 2 years ago.

OK you caught me on those ones. But it will be IPS, and also support Display-Port and HDMI with G-Sync (important for me as I work from home regularly so hdmi will mean no messing with cables when switching between desktop and docked laptop.

That must be awesome, I do have a Fry's nearby, I've never tried asking for a price match, should I take the link to an online listing with me so they can look it up in store?

Well, that makes us two. As you can read from my member title, I need money xD

I've got an idea! We will split the cost and cut it in half: you get one side of the panel and I'll take the other

They can look it up in the store, but I would just have the link ready in your phone just in case.
