960m vs 970m for maya & adobe cc. Worth the upgrade?

xtroria

970m yes probably, 960m no. it's slower then a 7850 I believe.

really depends how heavy of a workload you're going to be putting on it.

How much that upgrade costs?

AFAIK upgrading components of laptop costs a lot, so may not be worth it

Finally got PS4 Pro

Depends. If you've got a Clevo P series or MSI GT series you can easily get a 970m from rjtech.com/shop/index.php for an excellent price... If youre in the US.

They are pretty much plug and play, even on the older Sandy Bridge laptops.

For me in Canada its looking like a $600 upgrade for my GT780, but I'll do it soon. 570m ain't cutting it.
